@Zukeenee: Now thats a good answer for a ship submission feedback. Filled with details that were not of your liking leading to the answer for rejection. It would be great if the entire thread was filled with such guidence answers on how to make the model slightly better instead of standart "no all is fine". Dont get me wrong, I really appreciated your full answers.
There is one thing about the "skeletal" issue which will be possibly fixed - right now the model is still under review but primary its nearly 90% ready. The only thing that Aeternus proposed as an improvement for the overall model was its size reduction with 15-20%. In that way it will look more smaller and the weapon platform wont look like that long cuz its length may be reduced as well.

I really like the idea of adding ships to the bretonian fleet and a light gunboat seems a very good start for that.
As the BPA mentioned the RP for a light gunboat is there and welcomed by all parties in lawful space. So its is very important to motivate people in bringing up ideas like this one and every idea is a win for bretonia.
But I have a conflict with myself in this model. It has the classical bretonian style indeed, but I miss something new in the fleet. The "fishy" "bubble" thing is needed to be bretonian after my opinion, but in that model i just see the Bretonian Destroyer
Edit: I think it would fit then more, if that model becomes the heavy gunboat and the old design a little smaler becomes the light gunboat

Don't think Bretland needs the second gunny. Only BHG has two of them so far..
Your gunny isn't too good cause of it's size, yeah, but some other factions have heavy boats too.
Plus, it has a cool FG.
It looks nice and i love it just for that.
P.S.: Why do you say bret shipline is unloved? It's the only house military shipline that has non-vanilla fighter model (Paladin).

It is funny how they does not like the best heavy GB in game because they have no idea how to fly it.

Frankly, it's a decent try, but the texturing is awful. You've got waaaaaay too much stretching all over the model and the tiling factor is too small on the mesh. The mesh itself is a bit too basic too, I think. Definitely looks like a step down in terms of quality than the Bretonian gunboat itself.
The connection of the underhang to the main body needs work. It looks really sloppily done, the underhang itself is frail and there's some bits sticking off the arm bits that look like they don't belong.

consistency and completeness is a good thing and it is important too. it's one of Discovery's strengths. but I often wonder at the amount of resistance people will put up against new content being added especially when it is pretty well designed. I mean for it to have even a passing consideration for aesthetic and universe consistency is a bonus really when it looks this good to begin with.
it's not easy to get to this point. sure, it looks a bit weird. bit too skeletal, bit too sharp, bit too stubby. but it's consistent and quality enough and matching enough with bretonia that in-game in leeds you wouldn't bat an eye. and also, if all the ships looked alike nothing would be half as interesting. I thought the bretonian destroyer looked weird the first time I saw it. I thought that the bretonian gunboat was strange compared to the other bretonian ships. so once you consider all of that, it's a new ship. it's another ship, to add to your universe, and add to current storyline with gallia (gallian lower craft too maneuverable we need gunship), and you want to stop that? there is no perfect. there is only the standard and I think this thing meets it.

I can see quite some effort in this new model, but I personally don't like it. Reminds me of a smaller version of the destroyer.
In my opinion, the current gunboat is already well-balanced enough against snubs.
