It won't get implemented. Just carry some h-fuel in your hold, if you wanna feel realistic.

GMG you may have it but no one getting it from you. Unless you plan to increase your operations other factions would have to provide for Sirus. Besides the H-fuel you produce has no value. Unless the demand for H-fuel increases.

Edit: GMG this policy would greatly increase your influence in Sirus

This would put a ton of pressure on people and force people to make money constantly to make sure their ships always have enough fuel. Honestly, I just make enough money to buy the ships and equipment I need then stop because I HATE doing boring trade runs.

PS: For those people who have too much money how bout you send some my way:D I could always use some to purchase some better weapons and equipment.

You don't have to trade you can do missions....or ask for "DONATIONS" for the pirates out there....

If it isn't implemented in game mechanics I see it being highly problematic and unreasonable regardless of RP value it may have. Keep in mind, there is roleplay and there is game mechanics, not necessarily one follows the other closely, nor it's any good if they actually were.

Nomads not using h-fuel is great. Strengthens their small admin monitored strict group and gives them more threat. All the more reason to fear the nomads (which we should).

Hmm...could also bring more meaning to Nomad power cells...which...i should be getting...anytime...thou the auction was a month ago...

Fighter- 3units

Bombers-7 units

Gunboats- 12units

Cruisers- 20units

Battleships- 30units

Liners- 15 units

Transports- 7 units

Freighters- 4 units

Regular grade 1 unit = 2 hours of playing time

Hyper grade 1 unit = 4 hours of playing time

XH-Fuel grade 1 unit = 6 hours of playing time.

what do you think would that cover the minimum amount of fuel?

Bumping the topic again so people can see what i think may be possible

Oh yeah--having a Nomad power cell eliminates the need for h-fuel--that would be cool.

But nomad power cells are really hard to get from what i understand the ones i WON i got for 6.5 million but i think the guy got them for 30million dunno

But does the seem logical the way i mapped out the units?

If this is to happen--it has to be SIMPLE or people will throw their hands up on it.

Have at least ONE unit of fuel on board. Have slow and fast perishing fuel grades with the longer lasting being most expensive.

As long as you have ONE fuel, you are good.

If a modder was into it, they could make "battleship grade', "fighter grade", etc and have the larger ships perish more quickly (because they use more fuel)--but then an rp rule would have to be followed as to what fuel was carried and we are back to complicated. Maybe "fighter fuel" (slow perishing) and "non-fighter fuel" (faster perishing) would be manageable. Another alternative (used alone or in conjunction with any combination of the others) would be for a "non-fighter" fuel unit to take up more cargo space.

And I wouldn't go for "six hours" myself--especially if only one unit was needed to maintain maneuver.
