Sehr geehrtes Oberkommando,

before I started my morning patrol wizin ze Hamburg system, I got informed, zat ze Stuttgart Station (horrible name) was approved by ze Reichstag a few weeks ago. Due new administrative measures ze bureaucracy wizin ze empire takes even longer and ze permission is still not listed wizin ze database. I hope zey will fix zis soon.

I was approaching said station, when Herr Katzenbauer, ze station administrator, launched his ship. I found out, zat ze station was violating §7.9.5 as result of ze recent law changes. It seemed zat Herr Katzenbauer was aware of zis circumstance and he assured me zat ze Rheinwehr had been informed of zis. Zat seemed legit to me and I had no reason to not trust him. I however asked for written permission from ze Rheinwehr for ze proper paper way. I don't zink zeir will be furzer actions necessary; I will however visit him again in a few days, if no permission will be forwarded to me or ze Polizei.

Besides zat, nozing unusual happened.

Sehr geehrtes Oberkommando,

I got contacted by Leutnant Beist of ze Rheinwehr, regarding ze permission for ze Stuttgart station wizin ze Hamburg system later ze day of my last report. Ze Leutnant told me, zat ze Rheinwehr is aware of ze technical problems zis installation faces at ze moment and he assured me, zat zere is, besides zat, no furzer problem wiz ze installation. I gave him a copy of ze current base registry and asked who is responsible for ze irremissible lack of paperwork and why zis base isn't listed wizin an official government database. Wiz ze promise he would take care of it (and an eyeroll) he said good bye. Some hours later I got an update note in ze neural net for ze base registry.

Yesterday I got informed, zat ze kaiserliches Versorgungsschiff Wittelsbach was ready to start ze way back from
Mecklenburg. Ze captain got informed zat zere were some new Bundschuh installation wizin Lüneburg spotted. Hence ze Wittelsbach launched into Sector E6 of ze system to remove some weapon plattforms and a bunch of fighter support. It wasn't long before anozer gas miner gunboat arrived while ze Wittelsbach were surrounded by enemy forces. Ze condor GMG|Yaima.Maru prompted ze Wittelsbach to leave ze system. Ze captain answered zat he had to remove ze Bundschuh installation before zey grow to a bigger zreat for ze neighboring Krüger and Daumann bases. Ze gas miner didn't cared. He forced ze supply frigate out of ze system while being adamant, zat Lüneburg is no Rheinland space and ze guildmaster would cause "harsher consequences" next time.

As zis GMG|Yaima.Maru was also present a week ago, when ze Rheinland corvette Eisenach was going to form up wiz a convoy near Freeport 8. Ze gas miners showed an unmatched aggression when entering ze no fire zone of ze freeport, zus I was already asking ze zoners on ze same day how we solve ze dilemma of gas miner ships violating ze zoner laws. Until now, I got no response from ze zoners.

However, when I received ze Wittelsbach incident zis morning I immediately jumped into my Poltergeist and headed to Frankfurt. Apart from ze gas miners, ze Wittelsbach left an unfinished task, ze removal of Bundschuh forces, wizin Lüneburg behind. When I arrived at noon at Fulda and asked for a quick status update, zey told me, zere were already patrols sent out to remove ze remnant of ze Bundschuhs after ze miner left. After I expressed my anger zat nobody informed me about it (and I probably imitated Lt. Beists eyerolling), I was running to my ship to double check ze situation on site.

When I arrived in ze designated sector, zere was of course no sign of eizer ze gas miners or ze weapon plattforms. I scanned ze area when I saw Bundschuh reinforcement passing by. After I removed zeir presence from rheinland space I scanned ze area again. After everyzing seemed to be clear I returned to Fulda. After I dropped out of my ship, I got contacted by ze captain of ze Wittelsbach, which meanwhile successfully reached ze Arnsberg Research Institut. He told me, zat he will unload military salvage from ze fight wiz ze Bundschuhs. but he asked also, what should be done wiz ze prisoners. He fears as result of ze "harsher consequences" he wouldn't be able to return to Rheinlands only prison, Mecklenburg.

I have no idea, what I should tell him...

Seeing it as I'm no longer a help at Fulda, I would return to my previous task in Stuttgart. Ze investigation of ze scanner interferences, which we got during a defence of Daumann wizin Omega-11. While traveling back to Ulm border station, I first make a stop at Oder shipyard to oversee to progress wiz ze Jena.

today, at 15:50:00, while i was on patrol in Hamburg system, close to the Bering Jump Hole, a freelancer ship was detected on my scanners.
I told the ship to stop, to examine its license and its cargo, but the ship didn't stop. I fired some hornet missiles but, somehow, the ship avoided them and escape.
I still could see it was hauling diamonds. Some minutes later, i got intel about its presence in the Bering system.
The ships name is Maestro.

I told the ship to stop, to examine its license and its cargo, but the ship didn't stop. I chase the ship but it jumped to Sigma 15 system.

The ships name is Sam_Williams.

zis is my duty report #8340202.

It started when I got contacted by a proximity alerts on planet Hammersee in ze late evening. Corsair ships were appearing out of nowhere and approaching ze Mecklenburg prison in a small time frame, zat even reinforcement from Fulda would have been arrived too late.
Ze captain of ze Versorgungsschiff Schwaben was ze first one, who was able to respond to my mobilization from planet Stuttgart. Fortunately ze frigate was already moored at ze station. Ze captain, who recently recovered from surprisingly spontaneous amnesia, was able to wizstand ze attack. Ze frigate alone was able to put out around four douzen corsair ships. For interrogation purpose ze corsairs were ordered to our facilities at planet Stuttgart.

I left ze planet after ze interrogation started and moved my Poltergeist back to Ulm, when suddenly a gas miner entered Stuttgart space.
I executed ze standard identification procedure wiz ze miner, who was already complaining about not recieving a proper greeting from me. I might have been a little too exhausted in zis regard. Ze attitude of ze gas miner was very cocky. I did not overinterpret his behavior.
However I noticed some corsair weaponry on ze ship which was transporting gold back to ze Sigmas.
Ze weapon was successfully confiscated and ze captain was warned and fined for ze violation of §2.3.3.

I currently doubt zere is a connection between ze two incidents.

I told the ship to stop, to examine its license and its cargo. After examining carefully its cargo hold i found a Nomad Power Cell.
The Freelancer ship accomplished the Polizei orders. By the Law of Rheinland the Nomad Power Cell was conficasted.

Guten Tag Kollegen und Freunde,

Today I patrolled the New Berlin, Stuttgart, und Hamburg Systems, scanning 3 traders und finding no contraband. A weapons malfunction occurred near a trader at the Stuttgart -> New Berlin gate, leading to a protocol update of fully powering down weapons when in populated areas.

On the way to the Frankfurt patrol, I teamed up with Wach Erik Kohl to patrol in force. On the way to rendezvous, Wach Kohl altered me to a Bundschuh presence. Upon arrival at planet Holstein, the Bundschuh gunboat Seven-of-Swords was sighted in orbit in the midst of communications und potential transactions with freelance liner LL-Renaissance. The demand to Bundschuh gunboat Seven-of-Swords to halt und power down was ignored, so our team proceeded with disabling techniques. We pursued the Bundschuh gunboat into the Taunusfeld asteroid field, where Bundschuh reinforcements under the callsigns Herou und Guy.Sajer flying a Rheinland restricted light fighter und an Order heavy fighter respectively entered the battle. Wach Erik Kohl’s ship suffered a catastrophic decompression, which led me to successfully retreat to planet Holstein under heavy fire. Of note is that freelance liner LL-Renaissance observed the event as if it was entertainment, with comments after the battle further indicating enjoyment of violence within Rheinland.

Post-battle, I returned to the Taunusfeld to see LL-Renaissance appearing to be moored at Bruchsal Asteroid Base. I captured 10 low ranking Bundschuh pilots, und offered these pilots in exchange for the captain of the Seven-of-Swords. The Bundschuh refused, the pilots were later transferred to Planet New Berlin prison agents. Before departing, during failed negotiations to arrest the captain of the Seven-of-Swords, freelance liner LL-Renaissance made several inflammatory remarks about Rheinland in a spirit of stoking conflict. I attempted to fine LL-Renaissance 50,000 credits under article 2, section 5 of the Laws of Rheinland for quote:

“Hmm, perhaps I should open up some special “leaving Rheinland” offers. Seems like this place might have a good number of emigrants. Well, I can only applaud the people who stay around for all....*he gestures vaguely* Whatever this is.”

This communication was sent during likely collaboration with Bundschuh, und in a context of support for their criminal activity directly related to the population of Rheinland. Seven-of-Swords immediately supported the statement with quote:

“We've opened doors to the people all over sirius who feel as if they're threatened by a force they have no hope for the future does a lot."

I was recalled to Planet New Berlin before being able to complete legal action against LL-Renaissance.

During a routine patrol of the Reich's core systems, I encountered an unlicensed freelancer carrying small arms. Callsign Rori was unaware of the restrictions on small arms, und claimed they were delivering them to Elbe Border Fortress. I quoted the law und collected a 43,000 credit fine for the 4,300 units of small arms in the hold. I then escorted callsign Rori to Elbe Border Fortress to ensure the arms were being delivered to lawful purchasers, und issued a warning und recommendation to obtain licensing. Callsign Rori then departed for New London with hull parts.

An LSF IFF was sighted on long range scanners in the New Berlin system for some time, before leaving back to Liberty. The ship was likely using jump holes, as there are no records of it in the TLAGSNET logs. This is all the information I have.
