the Gefangenentransportvehicle Celle was on the regular route from Omega-7, when the Schiffsführer noticed an unsual jump of a Zoner ship from the Frankfurt System to New-Berlin. Following the standard procedure of scanning suspect vessels, the pilot in charge noticed contraband upon the ship. As no patrol unit was at this moment available, our units were contacted to intervene. The offender was not using etablished traffic lanes, so we had to check multiple cargo inspection points. We were able to finally find the Zoner between Bonn and the Stuttgart jump gate.

We ordered the ship to stop, but got no response. After warning, the behavior of the captain is considered as subersive conduct, our unit used a cruise disruptor to disengange the engines of the whale. But the captain still refuses to stop the engines and was still heading towards the Stuttgart gate. We fired some warning shots. The contraband hauler was insulting the officer and finally jumped into the Stuttgart system. After a few more ignored warnings the smuggler was finally taken down.

Our pilot asked for a cargo confiscation unit and waited for a response in the middle of the trade lane to Planet Stuttgart. About 20 minutes have passed, until a Liberty Police vessel showed up. This was a violation of §4.4.. Our unit ordered the libertonian ship to leave Rheinland, but the donut muncher officer persists to stay and submit a proposal. The SEK unit fired a some shots at the Patriot. Both parties agreed, the proposal can be heard during the escort back to Hamburg. The Liberty Police officer showed a great interest in the new Spandau Prison and asked about a possible prisoner exchange. He admitted the empire is only his second choice and he only contacted us, because he did not get a response from the Bretonia Police. We escorted the libertonian to the Essen Station and monitored it's way back to the Hudson jump gate. After that, our unit reported this incidents at the Brandenburg Station.

some weeks ago, we got a message from Marshal Corentin Auch of ze Gallic Gendarmerie regarding a steady travel permit to ze Gallic Union. Zis an upgrade of my previous request to import inmates as workforce from Gallia. During ze request, we had a meeting wizin Cologne - one of Rheinlands systems of questionable jurisdiction; it was invaded by Red hessian forces decades ago; during ze time of ze Republik. Ze civil war didn't help ze conflict wiz ze hessians neizer. As result of zeir attack, our border station Olpe was destroyed. An half year ago, I contracted ze owner of ze Koepchen Depot in Stuttgart to remove ze remains of ze Olpe wreck.

I gave ze Marshal my promise, ze Rheinland Polizei will secure ze Rheinland part of ze Alsace passage; and we will find ze remaining hessian forces wizin ze system. Since Direktorin Wolf granted me access of ze Chemnitz, ze time has come to keep zat promise. Unfortunately, I did not see any progress regarding Olpe. And since ze owner of ze Koepchen Depot has also an installation wizin Cologne, I've stick to Rheinlands way of dealing wiz a refusal to work. As my request of docking access to ze Koepchen Schmelzanlage in Cologne was denied, I gave ze owner 24h to overzink ze decission. He did not reply.

As our relations towards ALG is currently a bit stressed, since zey dared to damage Rheinland infrastructure wizin our capital system, my cruiser is currently solving zis small problem, but we ran out of ammo for ze moment. As soon as ze kaiserliche Versorgungsschiff Wettin arrives wiz more supplies and munition at ze Altenburg, I will continue enforcing ze empires will.

I also got a message from ze Spandau Prison in New-Berlin. Ze Marinenachrichtendienst finally managed to bring a set of new warden to our New-Berlin installation. As zis is now a operational prison station, I ordered ze reward for Red Hessian to double temporary. I hope zis will help drawing more attention towards ze securing of ze Alsace passage.

Ze crew of ze kaiserliches Versorgungsschiff Schwaben was conducting maintenance work between Spandau and Lichtenberg on Monday. By chance, ze crew noticed a TLAGSNET alert from a ship illegally transporting dangerous goods zrough Rheinland. Ze perpetrator was intercepted shortly zereafter in orbit of New Berlin. Ze perpetrator was a freelancer named Enza Jakarta, presumably from Liberty. After being made aware of Article 3, §3.1.1 and §3.1.3., ze crew of ze Schwaben issued a fine and confiscated ze corresponding ammunition. Ze freelancer did not resist and ze situation was handled in a civil manner. Ze goods were shipped to Spandau Prison for onward transport.

On Tuesday at noon, ze loading of ze Gefangenentransportvehicle Celle began. Once zis was completed, anozer prisoner transport from Bretonnia arrived in Omega-7. For logistical reasons, a small convoy was formed togezer wiz ze Rheinwehr corvette Helle Wolke. Ze convoy was relatively uneventful. Ze Celle transported criminals to Spandau Prison. Because we received several complaints from ze Mecklenburg garrison, a new contingent of security personnel was transported to ze prison station in Lüneburg (togezer wiz a set of ammunition). Ze complaining personnel initially refused to leave ze station; zey were zen forcibly furloughed. Ze Celle was transporting back some H-Fuel to ze Spandau Prison from our suppliers at Kruger. Meanwhile Wachtmeister Noah Becker, who is currently stationated at ze Mecklenburg Prison, contacted me about a Daumann installation wizin Lüneburg, which is located in an abandoned remote area. Ze installation Swift's Storage is currently in a state of decay and people are unhappy wiz zeir life conditions. Herr Becker even spoke of "revolts." We cannot allow such a zing. I asked him to investigate ze situation as I'm still busy in coordinating ze securing of ze Alsace passage. Depending on his performance (and ze outcome of ze investigation), I would like to recommend him for promotion.

I would like to give a summary of our activities in Cologne. But first zings first, in ze penal colony Hammersee, it was noticed, at a regular stocktaking, zat several food ration were no longer available. So far we have no knowledge of how ze supplies have been lost. Ze kaiserliches Versorgungsschiff Wittelsbach has already been sent on ze way to Lüneburg and has certainly arrived wiz a load of synz paste. It will stay a few weeks in ze system, to support ze local Schwermetallindustry.

Our scout ship in Cologne continued meanwhile its search for ze Red Hessian fleet. Ze search patterns were extended and it pushed to ze edge of ze Wildspitzenfeld. We discovered a group of junkers zere, who attempt to build a few weapon platforms. Ze scout ship was unable to neutralize ze intruders, but ze weapon platforms were destroyed.

After repairs, ze crew encountered on ze edge of ze Nordrauwolke a group of Bundschuh terrorists, who opened fire wizout hesitation. Since ze ship was not designed for ze fight, ze senior officer decided to return to Altenburg.

Spandau Prison's sensors regularly monitor shipping traffic around Planet New Berlin. They noticed a ship, which was marked with BUND|, but were initially unable to triangulate it. The special operations team was contacted to provide support and we sent a unit towards Frankfurt Gate. A freelancer was stopped in the perimeter of the gate on the Frankfurt side and questioned.

The Gefangenentransportvehicle Spandau had a collision with terrorist forces from the Alster Union yesterday near the battleship Schwerin. The attackers apparently wanted to free their comrades. It was interesting that we also recorded a ship with the BUND| tag at this time. This ship used a Bundschuh transponder code.

Our unit confronted the captain of the above ship and he panicked and opened fire. This action is seen as an admission of guilt and we warn against allowing closer contact with the group in question. §5.1. and §5.3. still applies.

due to our extended stay in Cologne, our supplies are almost depleted, and our supply ships currently have more pressing matters to attend to zan constantly sending reinforcements. Zerefore, I will be returning home wiz ze Chemnitz and hopefully arrive by ze New Year.

To reiterate my accomplishments during my excursion:

Ze trade agreement wiz Gallia for ze importation of criminals was fulfilled.
Ze contract wiz ALG for ze dismantling of ze Olpe wreck was fulfilled.
Ze search for ze Red Hessian fleet proved fruitless. While zere were some minor skirmishes wiz ze terrorists, zeir numbers could hardly be described as a "fleet." Unfortunately, ze requested reinforcements have not arrived yet.
Ze siege of Herrn Meiers station was called off after payment of a fine. Initially, I hoped we could use ze Koepchen Schmelzanlage as a base, until our border station was rebuilt. Unfortunately, ze station is currently untraceable; I suspect it has eizer been relocated or dismantled.

Ze Rheinwehr is supposed to deal wiz ze currently increasing activity of Unioners in Cologne. As soon as I'm back in ze sovereign territory of Rheinland, I'll also take care of ze Lichtenberg Station - ze owner hasn't paid ze fee since Q2 835. My government contact already said zat zis has resulted in a loss of 1.500.000 credits of public funds.

Additionally, ze bureaucracy in Rhineland seems to be neglected due to my absence.

During its transit, ze vigilance of ze crew once more proved essential. Ze sensors of ze Schwaben detected an illegal and undeclared weapons transport wizin ze borders of ze Rheinland Empire. In accordance wiz established Polizei procedure, ze identified Zoner vessel was intercepted near Bonn Station and subjected to a full inspection.
