RE: Discovery advertisement campaign - step 1 - Kazinsal - 10-09-2013 Some furry communities have good people. Others don't. Choose wisely, Sir Spazzydragon. RE: Discovery advertisement campaign - step 1 - Machelvanius - 10-09-2013 One thing that will help people want to log on is to have contests in game, especially since there is new work on the systems. People love to have games like capture the flag, crush the lush, (also known as smear the qu**r) and other fun pvp games that are object oriented and not the same as a free for all. Many people would enjoy I think a good two sided battle, not only does it get people interested in events, it teaches people how to be part of group, something that seems to be lacking of late. I'll be posting info on the places I know about to invite people to Discovery. Also, there might be a market for stickers, pins, or bumber stickers that we could buy or have made. Also there are T-shirt sites that have easy design protocols and maybe that would be a good idea. Something people could buy for themselves and wear where others might see it (supposing that they do go out into the real world). RE: Discovery advertisement campaign - step 1 - Jonas Valent - 10-10-2013 I agree with one of the earlier posts that recommended an official website. it would be a perfect place to not only advertise disco and its lore but also be a good place to post all the resources (videos, screenshots, etc). Though this forum is fantastic for an experienced disco player it is not as good for a newbie. A clear cut good looking website would draw new players and spark their interest in all that disco has to offer. I would also be happy to help in any way necessary. RE: Discovery advertisement campaign - step 1 - sindroms - 10-11-2013 I suggest we all grab a copy paste link and description or such and just...go do something. Once the rollback hits, that is. The advertisement chat lasted three days, until it died last sunday. RE: Discovery advertisement campaign - step 1 - Piombo65 - 10-11-2013 I propose to publish the game on greenlight, so as to attract a lot of people also on Steam! http://steamcommunity.com/greenlight/ |
