Trying to save your backside is a basic human instinct and beats the will to kill the other most of the time by default. You can apply this as both inRP and ooRP reason, you are dealing with humans in both cases anyways. In my opinion it's basic logic, you must have been really bored to ask such question.

Now hold on a second. Id say it's more than a valid question to ask. It helps put to rest a lot of squabbles between players as to why people dock mid-fight etc. Understanding and accepting why people do this is the first step to fairer play in the game as a whole. Don't be so quick to dismiss it.

tl;dr version is 8 pages of people justifying being bitter and bad.

Just an FYI I played AoE 2, I still play it sometimes. I don't play against CPU tho, I play with guys from this community. And want to know the truth? I suck hard time, and you can have lots of people here testify for that. And yet I still enjoy the game.

Why? Because it has no consequnces what so ever on my life.

This is not the topic tho.

Okay, would you like a medal for being so understanding?

RE: People afraid of the blue - iCon3q7 - 04-06-2014

I can't understand why this thread isn't closed.. It's clearly only meant to ridecule and troll people who don't play exactly like mr. Righteous

You know what I imagine when people get a kick out of shooting others in a GAME??
Sad..little..virgins..

Sure. Can I get a crown too?

Anyway, seeing that I've got my answer of both sides of the coin, ooRP (which really did seem quite butthurt for me, though I can get the frustration it comes from) and the inRP one which did shed some light as well. Regardless, this discussion fulfilled its purpose so a lock would get proper I guess.

If that what floats your boat, and you are incapable of understanding sarcastic comment that was meant to deprive out of topic discussion - ok.

RE: People afraid of the blue - Ash - 04-06-2014

Can you blame me for wanting to bring something other than another opinion to the discussion?

But then if all you want to do is squabble then I should have known better.

RE: People afraid of the blue - Scumbag - 04-06-2014

The question translates to: why are people aholes? If you find an anwser to that you can solve a lot of problems.

Sorry, got carried away.
You're right with that one

EDIT: Funny that I made this discussion with the mindset of "Something is probably wrong" and I have actually realized that I might well be interrupting others from this thread (and kudos for those who didn't glitch to private levels). And got all jumped over with "DURR HURR STUPID PVPWHORE WHO WANTS BLUE MESSAGES DURRRRRRRRRR"

Right.

Regardless, iCon3q7, sorry if you got offended by that comment, it was meant to get people who won't stop going about the aforementioned jumping over. Fed them what they wanted so they'd shut up and go out of the thread.
