Nah of course I just mean change color projectiles same speed refire rate stuff.

A complete replacement would take prolly too long and as many people repeatedly point out Devs are busy. But I think this here can be done.

+1 For house cerbs, but removing them or replacing them with something entirely new or drastic, that's not a good idea.
Cap fights last long enough already.

with different stats
different color

This is what I can come up with a idea, remove cerberus and give capital vesssels more variaty of gun like for example a big beam cannon that deals massive damage but with a slow fire rate. Also remove ammo for the missles or allow players more ammo because 20 battleship missles is not enough.

At first they whine about missile spam, then ask to return it.

I wonder why 20 is not enough for you. Do you like to fire them at fighters?

The OP's suggestion to eliminate/change Cerbs was stated that it was due to cap fights being too short. You're suggesting the opposite is true.

I would like to see a bit longer cap fights, myself, and would like to see a bit of a Nerf/change to Cerbs. What ever happened to Battle Razors or Trebs/artillery? Do folks not use them anymore? Why not? Is it just all about the DPS?

mainly DPS

the problem lies twofold:

1) the damage of mortars / battle razors is too low compared to cerbs
2) the range of them is too low compared to cerbs

If you nerfed cerb range and buffed mortar / BR damage, it'd make them useful again. I'd say that cruiser and gunboat razors are used heavily, though, especially the gunboat ones.

yes remove cerberus they have made battleship combat as uninteresting as the cap combat their creation was supposed to resolve...
