RE: OSC| Internal Comms - Croft - 03-13-2016 ![]() -- Incoming Signal -- -- Video feed -- * ID: Chairman Henry Pines * Location: Planet Curacao * Subject: Omega 41 Survey * Priority : High Signal coding complete Message Beginning: Mr Wells, Thank you for the very thorough report, you and your team are to be commended. It's a shame that Omega 41 proved to be so hostile, the aggresive radiation in particular would be an issue as you say, costing us more than any potential profits, the mines and asteroids are the final nail. I will remove the system from the potential site list and move on, hopefully the results of the Hellfire Legion's invitation with provide something more to our liking. Message Ended

* ID: Chairman Henry Pines * Location: Curacao * Subject: BFL * Priority : Medium Signal coding complete Message Beginning: Pilots of OSC, I have recently been contacted by a group calling themselves Bund Freiheitlicher Landwirte, an offshoot of the LWB. These BFL apparently wish to seek peaceful means to their goals and quite surprisingly includes opening trade with us. Naturally I am highly suspicious of their motives given the brutality we've seen from the LWB upon Baden Baden. For the sake of lessening threat I have agree to a ceasefire as an act of good faith while we continue discussions, therefore I ask all pilots to refrain from attacking an BFL marked ship unless provoked but remain on guard when entering Rheinland as these negotiations may quickly turn sour. I will update you as things develop, safe flight to you all. Message Ended

Signal coding complete Message Beginning: Good Day Mr. Pines , Captains , Pilots! After the invitation of Lord Commander Samuel Locklear , a survey team led by the OSC|Wandering Ellegance and accompanied by David Chesterton and Peter Simpson set off to meet representatives of the Hellfire Legion and the Commonwealth of House Liberty, namely Lord Commander Samual Locklear , Fleet Captain Lennard Westbrook and Star Colonel Jordan Lancaster, in order to conduct a survey of the Commomwealth controled areas in hopes of finding a site where future Spa & Cruise operations could be maintained.
![]() The following is a surmary of the data collected on every possible site and location, pointing out possibilities, pros and cons:
After surmarizing all the data, and if requested, R&D department is ready to submit a possible plan of deployment for a - for the start, temporary - operation in cooperation with the Hellfire Legion and the Commonwealth of House Liberty. In case such is requested, please inform R&D Department at the eariest possible. ![]() At this time, I would like to point the fact out, which shows how serious the Hellfire Legion and the Commonwealth intntions are, that the three highest ranking officers of the Legion were the ones guiding us around their systems, giving us lots of information on how the Legion and the Commonwealth was founded, how they operate and what their plans are for the future. I personally belive this could be an equally profitable cooperation for both sides, and could open up further possibilities. Best regards: Andrew Wells

The three possible locations, WItchita, Iridescencia and Guadalajara are quite promising, however I am more inclined towards Witchita and Guadalajara due to their close proximity to the Magellan jumpholes which would make supplying any potential asset far safer and cost effective. That of course rests entirely upon the permissions of the Lord Commander and the Commonwealth goverment but we are getting ahead of ourselves. As per your recommendation Mr Wells, we will open negotiations with the Hellfire Legion for the placement of a luxury yacht within the Commonwealth to gauge popularity and interest. Should demand prove high enough we will aim to establish a liner and possibly a resort upon Guadalajara. We shall need to know whom the Legion would allow as suppliers, what requirements we need to meet or policies to follow and a list of banned goods, I'm sure Captain Blackwood would be happy to assist you should you need to delegate. I intend to contact the Liberty goverment for a statement regarding the aforementioned plan as a token gesture, we will of course be proceeding regardless Message Ended

Firstly I must stress my apologies for the lack of reports, until recently there has been little in the way of progress... this has now changed and there have been a number of interesting developments, some of which have the potential to be very unsavory for OSC if handled incorrectly. I have condensed these into the following list: 1. Moleigh's Shady Past: Lorleii ( Moleigh's daughter) has informed me of possible unlawful actions carried out by her mother in the past, she failed to provide any specifics but insists that she had put it behind her. However as Saint logistics supplies some of our resorts it could be problematic if this information became public. 2. Moleigh's last known location: CCTV footage from a bar on Diogo resort has confirmed that she landed on Curacao. How she managed to avoid our security systems and get to the bar is currently unknown, however it raises the question, is she getting some kind of assistance planet side? 3. Possible location of her vessel: The most recent development, which I'm currently investigating, came from a chance meeting with a crew of an OSC science research vessel. They picked up an odd sound contact on a hydrophone array, currently there is some debate on what it was but one suggestion is a craft impacting with the sea. I will be travelling with Lorleii and the crew to the location of this contact shortly. 4. Possible OSC involvement: This is currently just an intuitive feeling, however the behavior of some OSC staff, the fact that Moleigh managed to land and get to Diogo undetected and the lack of evidence of her current whereabouts makes me think that she is getting help from an insider. I cannot currently fathom the motive behind such actions but need to keep an open mind to all possibilities. With all this considered I will aim to continue the investigation as quietly as I can. My main priority is finding Moleigh alive but if in the process of doing so I uncover something unsettling I want you to be aware of it early. I hope I am proven wrong but thought it best to inform you just in case. I will report again once I have more information... Regards Karen Banks Report Ended

We now have a missing person with a criminal past loose upon our resorts, a person who by all accounts does not wish to be found and you speculate, has help from within the company. This is not the direction I intended for this investigation Miss Banks, a lost courier case should not be escalating into a security threat. While your suspicions are appreciated, and if you gain evidence to support them please inform me immediately, I do not believe it wise to pursue them unless the case demands it lest you attract attention. To avoid any awkward questions I have created this direct line to my office, it is text only unfortunately but should allow you to report in securely. I expect good news next time. Good luck Message Ends

The stations hull integrity has been compromised and life support systems are failing, without intervention the situation will become critical, potentially endangering many more lives. Although we at OSC strive to keep neutrality over such conflicts our humanitarian pledge cannot be ignored. When the galaxy turns dark we are there. Normally in these situations we would offer our liners to transport those in need to safety, however as the sector is currently volatile and there is an organised relief effort underway the department deemed it unwise to risk any liner and her large crew to such an endeavour. With this in mind the OSC|Dover was redirected from its normal operations to help transport much needed aid to the station. Regards, Karen Banks Director of the Humanitarian Aid Department ---Captain Steve Jones’s report is expected shortly---

Steve Jones * Location: Freeport 9, Omicron Theta * Subject: Humanitarian Mission * Priority : <Med> Signal coding complete Message Sent: Greetings OSC Command, As requested by the Humanitarian department I completed my last Tea shipment and headed for Omega 49 and Planet Gran Canaria. The system was eerily quiet but planet side the cargo hanger was a hive of activity. I was quickly informed of a route to Freeport 11 (See below) and my hold filled with Disaster Relief Organized Packages (D.R.O.Ps). ![]() Omega 49
With the cargo stowed and my Nav system updated I left Planet Gran Canaria and headed to the Omega 47 jump hole located within the Barrier Nebular. Nothing of interest to report.
![]() Omega 47
After the jump into Omega 47 I checked my scanners, no contacts. This system again proved to be quite but not without interest. As i passed the large purple gas planet Rabat I was reminded of the company logo. It may be of interest to OSC command as a potential site for future resorts, for the record I have included an image of the planet, however due to the importance of the mission I did not have time to investigate further. Next destination the Omega 41 jump hole in the Walker Nebular
![]() Omega 41
Ah Omega 41, I know other captains are aware of the beauty and dangerous of this system, the high levels of radiation, dense asteroid field and scattered mine fields keep one on one's toes. But the sight of the neutron star at its heart is something to behold, a once in a lifetime for many! A passing Freelancer voiced his surprise of seeing an OSC vessel in the system but hurried past, no doubt cautious of lingering too long in the radioactive glow of the neutron star. After carefully crossing the system I jumped to Omicron Theta via the jump hole.
![]() Omicron Theta
The transverse across Omega 41 had left minor radiation damage to my ablative armor and was in need of repair. Luckily the system is home to Freeport 9, the crew on-board, seeing I was conducting a relief run to Freeport 11 seemed happy to arrange rapid repairs for my vessel. As I waited for Dover to be readied I wondered down to the Bar, it was filled with people, some huddled in groups poring over plans, while others stared at the news broadcasts of the unfolding crisis.
After the quick repairs were complete I undocked to head for the Omicron 74 jump hole, another Freelancer, maybe unaware his comm channel was open was mumbling about being robbed of his relief cargo and seemed glad to be heading in the other direction, I must say this encounter nearly had me dropping my cargo at Freeport 9 and heading to Cortez. ![]() Omicron 74
Little to report, no encounters during transit, however an unknown planet, on my Nav system at least, caught my eye. Again OSC command may be interested to investigate this system further.
![]() Omicron Delta
The journey so far had proven far less eventful then I had expected, however as soon as I jumped into Delta I was greeted by a large Corsair battle group. I must say the view from my bridge was daunting, my scanner filled with numerous contacts. Thankfully my presence was hardly noticed and although I was unsure of their stance they seemed occupied by bigger "fry".
I held back from the "no mans land" between the jump hole and Freeport 11, waiting for a gap on my scanners. Having the Corsair fleet so close was unnerving but I hoped our previous aid missions to Planet Crete had not been forgotten. Once I spotted a gap, and I admit built up enough courage, I engaged full cruise power and made the dash to Freeport 11. ![]() The station was in a terrible state, the attack had left hull breaches which were visibly leaking gasses in to space and the interior lights appeared to be flickering with intermittent power. Around the station a few Zoner craft were protecting and overseeing the relief vessels as they came and went. I docked with the station after receiving clearance, on-board there was no time for pleasantries, I was instructed to stay on Dover as the station's crew unloaded the cargo due to the possibility of a rapid decompression. Once the unloading was complete I was thanked for my efforts and cleared for un-docking.
![]() The dash back to Omicron 74 was a little fraught as most of the craft in the region were engaged in battle, I cruised well away, wary of being caught in the cross fire.
I must say in my opinion without aid this station would be at risk of total destruction and hopefully OSC's effort will go some way to help save the lives of those on-board.
I am currently at Freeport 9, resupplying my ship to return to normal duties. Steve Jones signing off ... Report Ended

The two locations mentioned in Captain Jones report will be sent to Mr Wells and our R&D department for potential investigation, hopefully a site will be found that matches our critera. Again, excellent work. Message Ended
