TL:dr Liberty Navy (indies) aren't above using their only quality (quantity) when they can, even against people that don't really require that....

RE: Operation Tourbillon - Protecting Liberty - hack - 05-16-2016

I think the Liberty Lawfuls will get it together and co-ordinate to make it an interesting contest.. The Indy Nay? Most wont co-ordinate with the Liberty Lawful factions and most likely end up feeding the GRN a lot of points. Time will tell.

I'm not participating in the event (yet). I can spare the time for a post or two, but not for a battle. The Tonnant is a shared ship.

Nope. You can attack Royal Navy as Liberty is within your ZOI as Outcast, but you cannot ally with Liberty lawfuls.

Outcast ID Wrote:Pilot carrying this unlawful ID is a member of the Outcasts, who:

-Can attack any ships within their Zone of Influence, except transports.
-Can demand cargo and credits from any ship within their Zone of Influence, and attack them if they do not comply.
-Can treat ships carrying Artifacts or Stabiline as combat targets.
-Cannot ally with any lawfuls except with Bretonian lawfuls against other unlawfuls or Gallic Royal Navy only.

Zone of Influence: Bretonia, Liberty, Kusari, Taus, Sigmas, Omicrons, Gallic Borderworlds, Magellan, Cortez, Coronado

Allowed ships: Fighters, Freighters, Transports, Gunboats, Cruisers, Battleships

But you can attack GRN even so. Just don't ally with the lawfuls.

Or you just make any one LN, LSF, LPI ship and not be shot at by everyone. The red coloured line in the OC ID makes it quite problematic to fight even just in the vicinity of Liberty lawfuls, since it kinda does count as allying if you fight alongside Liberty against Gallia, as the initial question stated
