4.81 Main Features - Alex06 - 09-02-2006 Repair ships healing ships in battles? no no no dont make it so it can heal it wud be very annoying ,any1 played C&C renegade?(online) when bout 2-4 engineers follow your tank and repairs it? 2 or 5 hull is very little wud be quite pointless to have even 1 of em. 4.81 Main Features - marauder - 09-02-2006 Have you even looked at a repair ship? It's not very agile, it's got about 3 turrets and a single nomad can blow one outta the sky without even trying. You could make could money. Also, exactly 2 or 5 x 100.00 Thats not 2 or 5 thats 200 to 500 per second. Thats a good amount. That way people have to deal with the possibility of a repair ship in a battle, and would have to take it out to finish off capships for effectively. 4.81 Main Features - Qunitinius~Verginix - 09-05-2006 it would be cool if you could use the mining ship to mine asteroids tho....... dont think its possible after thinking about it. It would make mining so much more profitable and faster 4.81 Main Features - Igiss - 09-11-2006 Sorry guys, but repair thing won't work. Many people tried to do this before (TLR is full of it). The game cannot handle negative damage values, both hull and shield: the weapon with negative damage deals millions damage instead and/or is just buggy and won't do anything at all. 4.81 Main Features - DarkOddity - 09-11-2006 Yeah, I remember trying to help the Solaris admins make a repair gun... I wound up making a Justike Mk I on my server that killed anything it hit.. instnatly... and that was just with a -1 damage stat lol. Idea: Can we get capital ships to drop their turrets? Would be a nice addition IMO. At a reasonable rate though, like [u]maybe[/i] you can get two turrets, most of the time one tho. 4.81 Main Features - Igiss - 09-11-2006 Capital ships use turrets that cannot be used on player ships (for certain reasons), so I can't do that. At least, many of those turrets cannot be... I'll think about what can be done. Actually, price of capship turrets is too high for making them lootable so easily. 4.81 Main Features - DarkOddity - 09-11-2006 The price thing is a good point, was just a thought though. I think maybe I just miss some of those minor features in the Evolutions mod, but then again this mod is so much better I can pass on some of those things :) |
