Just wondering about something here, i noticed the Blood Dragons are hostile, but surely you would be at least neutral to them because of the battle of Tekagi's Arch.
I know this is disco but i would of thought you would still be neutral or friendly.

Humm... Let me start by saying that I like you, Swiss. So don't take this as a grudge post just because I disagreed with the Order Council ordeal.
So! Lets begin.

Just let the record show that I vehemently disagree with this decision.
My sentiments are reflected within the first response. See, to me, this seems like due to a flaw in the Black Squadron's claim to being -The- Order that you guys just went ahead and agreed upon a name change in some strange attempt at a power grab.
People argue, "Bs| is just a Squadron! 'Tis in the name, aye?" to which you respond, "Nuh-uh!".
So, to solidify your "Nuh-uh-ing" you changed your name so that you would catch less flak for claiming absolute rule over the Order... You know what I mean. Don't poke holes in my use of 'absolute rule' in that sentence.
I disagree and you're taking away something that has been established and respected for ages and not only that, you're taking away any uniqueness that the fading population of the Bs| might have had left. Honestly, transitions from SA to LN, QCO/QCR/QCQCQC to BAF just seems fantastically dull and uncreative. I feel as if you have fallen under the bandwagon.
I know theres nothing I can do to change anybody's mind.
Just my two cents.

Some time after the nomad war, we gained an alliance with the corsairs/hogosha (and indirectly the farmer's alliance/gaians). Blood dragons are entirely opposed to samura and the hogosha, whom are now our allies.
Things change, yes we fought with the blood dragons at tekagi's arch... 17 years ago. Yes, we even worked with outcasts during the nomad war... 17 years ago... now they're a bunch of squid worshipping drug addicts.
This is not a static universe anymore than real life is.

The NPC reps are vanilla based, they're the ones the game gives us. They won't chance, but the player factions can.
As for the name change. There are various reasons we decided to do it.
First off, the idea has been around since DBoy has leading Bs| and I always liked the thought of it.
Secondly, when this whole chaos started and Bs| lost a lot of popularity and everything, we closed down recruitment and basically isolated ourselves while Wolfpack talked with the admins.
After that ordeal, wolf left leaving me in charge to basically fix up the Order. And I do think I did. The last order he gave me was to get rid of Bs| on the server. So we all agreed on a name change and The Order seemed like the best fit.
I personally think all npc factions should be represented by a player faction like some have, ex) we are the Order now, BAF, LN, KNF etc.
If we wanted to I guess we could assume control over the Order as a whole, but knowing better, I pushed the idea of the council/high command and this faction is just the official faction of the Order.

sorry for butting in like this but 10 out of 10 member's all said that Order| was the better title and its given us a change for some good RP, and it makes a little more sence.

As far as this goes, an enemy of an ally is not automatically an enemy of yourself. Unfriendly generally, but possibly even neutral in some cases. It's particularly odd that the Blood Dragons are listed as hostile (the infocard doesn't say they are), but the GC aren't... And the GC are probably more closely aligned to the Outcasts than the BD (Dragons don't like cardamine, for example), though both are enemies of the Hogosha.

In regards to the Namechange...(and I do heartily agree with Magoo, lookit my sig)
They're not all of the Order, the Order is all they are.
IE: they're Order regulars, there's nothing special to differentiate them from the normal bit of it. They're not special forces or spies or any such thing, they're Order regulars...Or, anyway, that's how I think about the unilaterally named factions (other than RM...but everyone has their biasses.)

Well the in-game diplomacy only has friendly, neutral, and hostile. But I think I'm going to remove the BD from hostile.
