This means a Kusari Destroyer at roughly 600m side-on cannot be hit by both forward guns in the same salvo. Plus, Destroyers aren't even a Gunboat's target, fighters are. It takes skill to hit another gunboat at combat distance, it takes a miracle to hit a fighter- and if you manage it in a Bretonian one, you only deal half the damage any other gunboat could dish out because the forward gun damage is halved between two guns. Argh! What I propose is this: Gunboat forward guns be unlocked again, and/or the firing arc of Bretonian Gunboat forward guns be vastly improved to allow effective use against fighters. Discovery 4.81 features, bugs & suggestions - The_Laser - 10-20-2006 this comment will probably get me a kicking (feel free), but I really dont like the bretonia capital ships gunboat/cruiser etc (excluding BS). they just dont look right when they fly, they are too wide and short, i have no idea what they should look like on the other hand just more regular, taking more clues from the BS. First, two of the engines on the Zoner Juggernaut (the buggy juggy as I have come to call it. *inserts Virus' "Damn hit-boxes smily here"*), the two lower right small engines have no engine effects at all. The other is that Solaris battleship turrets cost over FOUR MILLION credits. This seems quite expenses, as the 1.8 million credit Order MkII turrets are better. I think the price should be something around 2-2.4 million credits. Solaris uses almost as much. WARNING: SPOILER AHEAD! @Dab: All solaris turrets cost 4.8 mil. The gunboat and cruiser ones cost the same as the BS version even though the BS turret does over 3x as much hull damage a shot. The reason they cost that much is because they're still excellant at dropping shields and their refire rate is 8.33. Plus the solaris turrets do more damage per second then any other 'normal' turret, they're only beaten by Battle-razors and infernos. Yes corsair turrets have the same refire but they have alot less damage then the solaris. If any turrets need to have their price lowered then it's the gunboat and cruiser ones, not the BS one. I know that at least 8 solaris BS turrets can strip the shield off and kill a cruiser before the cruiser can drop the BS's shield, therefore the price for solaris BS turrets is fine.
