Are you seriously expecting anything out of this?

While I don't see the purpose of the bump, this is at the very least a demonstration of community preference, you know. It's not an entirely useless thread, and if anything, should likely be taken into account as a poll on public opinion. People don't like what's happening, is the message here.

I think the devs should gather all their main criticizers and let them run this place instead of them for a week or a month. We'll either get a better management and then keep it, or they will see what it's like from the devs' point of view and stop whining. Hopefully a month is long enough for results to show, but not do considerable damage.

Aren't Xalrok and Alex the only ones that can push updates?

With the knowledge how to, or with access to the server?

Or instead of using their own knowledge and influence simply as tools to assert themselves, people could work together and achieve better results than they would with the former.

Just kidding. "Don't criticize me because I have the power to make more stuff happen than you" has been the best way of keeping disco mutually respectful, trusting, and happy for all these years.

What a strange, almost condescending thing to say in what is an otherwise serious poll. Is that a question in the form of you knowing nothing can be done, it's too late? Or more of a "do you think we'd let that happen" rhetorical question?

Ah yes, let the people who are kept as far away from the staff team as possible be in charge (after making sure that even if they were allowed to contribute, it was menial labor like correcting infocards) take control, making sure none of the arcane knowledge the wizards of the discovery mod will be accessible, and then make your superior, mocking declarations of how you are the only hope for discovery, because none have the smarts to take your place.

This is a method many managers use to get people fired from real life jobs because they simply don't like them, and wish to embarrass them. Are you wholly unskilled and ready to take on this position that requires a considerable amount of prior context and training? Well I hope you're ready!

The question was meant to be interpreted in the light of this passive aggressive thread you started, Saronsen. It tells more about you than it does about me that you immediately interpret anything in the least charitable way. The context this thread appeared in and the general manner by which you raise certain issues betray a quite entitled attitude that is neither constructive nor objective enough to help your cause. If you want something changed and you have nothing to offer than to try and frame your opponent as though they are the untermensch and then propose they shall be enslaved to your "mob rule" and what they think the people they make decisions for should spend their free time on, then you are not the victim here.
