I suggest we do not actively pursue any attack on their forces unless it is a pre-planed sortie with at least 3 of our Vipers or a pre-designated force.
Pilots should still engage in the instance of an attack on Planetform in any situation.

We can not risk loosing our friendship with Planetform.

Orion:
I've had 2 patrols so far of the trade lane construction site and have seen nothing bigger than a destroyer from the Kusari there, I do not believe our fighters will have any trouble with them as I took out a destroyer and 2 gunboats myself. I recommend restraining our efforts to that lane corridor and the planet itself. There are regular battlegroup patrols around Holman that perhaps the Croatica could deal with.

From the Admiral:

New Viper pilot orders: everyone is required to engage in combat simulation at least once a week and report the engagement here. If at all possible, meet up with Capt. Atalante (Hyperion,) as he has the most experience to share, however simulation with Orion is also acceptible. Good marks on any simulation or real engagement is a means to promotion within the faction.

Capt. Atalante: you are tasked to come up with a pilot rating system, maybe a rating of 1 through 5 that you will keep weekly track of based on pilot performance in engagements and simulations, I will post your ratings on the faction status page next to the Pilots name. (you can just PM these to me.)

--------------------

From the President:

Our trading missions to and from Theta have an added element now, instead of mere passengers going out to Corfu, you are now transporting Colonial Scientists/politicians and visitors, whom you are held responsible to protect at any cost.

Please welcome a new addition to the rag tag fleet: the Virgon_Carrier has rejoined us after a long journey from the Colonies, we have no word on the name of her pilot yet but we hope to hear from him soon.

-----

Faction standings updated, Kusari Navy is now Hostile, SCRA and LDinc. downgraded to unfriendly.

Gentlemen,

If I can ever "lose" my abysmal contract with Bowex, I may be available to assist you in running the Kusari blockade of Harris.

Not the most profitable of routes by any means..  Perhaps a per-trip "bonus" of some sort might entice a few more of us "mavericks" to take the risk.

I also seem to collect a few prisoners along the way..  Perhaps a "premium" on any miscreants collected and delivered to CR personnel?

Please advise,
R. Waverly Esq.

Nick Gideon on the Traveler:

Well now Mr. Waverly, You of all people should be aware there is a fairly high demand for deuterium on Harris in addition to the items Orion mentioned. Shouldn't be that hard for a man of your resources to come by that down at the Villa eh? I'm fairly certain that the Colonial coffers wont be openned for free lance traders officially, but I would we greatful if you can make a few runs out there in my stead and I can at least attempt to make it worth your while. Contact me through Orion, Galactica or Emerald_Melody if you have a transaction going that way and I'll see what we can do.

As for a psuedo bounty on the Gaians...yea sure, I'll pay twice what you would get at Harris, I think that makes it 2k per pilot.

The door opens...

Commander Adama: Come in son.

Larson Trang: Juts to attention Yes Sir

Commander Adama: At ease & Have a seat. So... How was the hunting trip?

Larson Trang: It was relaxing... But Im looking forward to returning to duty sir.

Commander Adama: smiles Your Father was Lear Tra'ng of the Battlestar Andromeda correct? (Knowing the answer & not giving any time to respond) I knew your father... We went through command school together. You look a lot like him. Pauses a few seconds... I am TRULY sorry he didnt make it.

Larson Trang: Sitting in the guest chair, feeling emotion swelling... first the loss of his father & friends... Than... ANGER... Id kill every one of those fracken toasters if I had half the chance!... Sir

Commander Adama: Trying to hold back a smerk... well, I believe you WILL have that chance. You are here by returned to active duty. And it seems there are still plenty of Cylons to go around. Report to the CAGG ASAP! Dismissed.

Larson Trang: Stands & snaps to attention Yes Sir Turns & leaves for the flight deck. A small smirk comes with the thought of returning to the active list. Thinks to him self... (I hope they are done refitting my Viper...)
Steps onto the flight deck... (There she is...) Seeing his newly refit Viper. (Now, where is the CAGG? And more to the point, WHO is the CAGG?) Looks at the duty roster... (Caleb Atalante... Call sign: "Hyperion" Humm... Wonder what hes like? Guess Ill find out soon enough. Humm... Supper time...)

Heads for the officers mess...

SCRA probes Canterbury

Galactica detected a Corsair Gunboat running SCRA recognition codes snooping around at the Planetform headquarters in New London. The vessel appeared to be doing reconaissance, but with alot of comm chatter taunting and cruise engine flybys. SF and RCAF vessels in the area appeared to not care about the Corsair vessel so deep in Bretonian space. A few pot shots were exchanged, more pleasentries on open squawk, and the Corsair withdrew no doubt to report ship strengths and positions.

All combat pilots are to suspend borderworld excursions (excluding CR transport escorting,) until the end of the week and monitor routes to and from Dublin carefully.

In the pilot briefing room

Lt. Helion: "Alright, everyone please welcome JG Tra'ng back!

PILOTS WHAT DO YOU HEAR?"

Pilots: "NOTHIN BUT THE RAIN!"

Helion: "Tra'ng get your gun and bring the cat home!"

To: President, 12 colonies of Kobol

From: Nicolos Gideon

Madam President,

Though your recent negotiations with the ELF have failed I feel we must pursue a better understanding of the enigmatic missionaries. To that end I will be attempting to immerse myself in their publications so that we may prevent future misunderstandings. I will also be attempting to open new lines of communication, perhaps of less official character.

ID: Orion

-Got some stick time with Achilles tonight. He was a bit rusty but experience was evident. Details encoded and sent to the CAGG.

-Detected an SCRA fighter monitoring our exersizes outside Harris, didn't seem interested in causing trouble and for a change the taunting was curtailed.

-Had a chat with Mr. Waverly over subspace comms, he was inquiring obout our shipping needs in Tau-31 and I told him appropriations were being discussed.

**Cpt. Atalante reporting**

Today Orion and I were on regular patrol when Orion spotted some SCRA vessel. We began pursuit thru several system were we got separated. I myself encountered SCRA vessel in Leeds system and also in Magellan.
Despite my efforts i was unable to do much damage to the SCRA cruiser, as well it couldn't target me... It was pretty pointless fight until Orion managed to arrive. Upon his arrival SCRA cruiser began to run back towards Leeds jump hole and from there to Cambridge. In Cambridge Cruiser meet with SCRA Frigate. Orion was distracted by swarming corsair attack and i went to engage a fight with two SCRA ships. Luckly soon Galactica showed up and engaged two enemies. Unfortunately they went into ice field in Cambridge. Galactica followed but due to very limited maneuvering in field it took heavy damages and been forced out of the battle. In the mean time one Bounty hunter destroyer joined the battle but it was destroyed quickly. I stayed and fought some more but i was still unable to do damage to any of the enemie vessels...at the end both SCRA vessels gave up form fighting and went to Omicron 5 system i guess for reapirs since both cruiser and frigate sustained moderate damage in fight with Galactica and Bounty hunter destroyer Morning Star. From there i didn't keep track of them.
I can only say that i am sorry that Gunstar Croatica wasn't near to assist us. I have a feeling that this battle would end up differently.
It must be some hidden agenda behind this battle...

**Atalante out**

Message: SF Nomad Transportation licenses approved as of today for all [CR] vessels-free of charge. Many thanks to SF command. This will allow Planetform scientists to further research into terraforming acceleration. Operations are being planned to harvest nomads on a larger scale some time next year.
