I thought you played the game to spend time, away from everyday life.... so why complain about spending more?
That is an insensitive and immature outlook. There are many valid investments that people have made into their POBs other than time. Memories of good times, friendships made, collegiality. Looking back on the hard work trucking supplies in from afar (or near) with the satisfaction gained of completing a tough job but a good job.
Pixels to you but mind and emotion at work creating something that they wanted.

How come my pob has been moved a further 2k from the trade lane bend in Galileo? its now 4k from the bend and not the stated min 2k and my weapon platforms are more or less in the base.

A PoB name would help a lot but I assume your PoB was Freeport 12. It was too close to a mining zone so it got moved slightly.

freeport 12 was 30k from the mining zone but the extension was within the 30k min distance

It was not. It was 28k.
