4.86 Event Two Thread - BaconSoda - 06-18-2010
I have to ask, can some people play the BHG, maybe? Last I counted, there were literally 34 Order and 17 BHG. It's not exactly fun to just undock, fly 10k, get shot at by 10 Osirises, and then repeat. Not to mention the fact that no one seems to want to fly anything besides an Osiris.
It really isn't that hard to make this kind of thing balanced, guys. Seriously. It's not about getting revenge for a gank or ganking someone or anything, it's about having fun, and, honestly, this isn't much fun for either side.

From what i've heard. One of the big reasons people spam caps is it's easier to deal with the lag when a mass battle occurs.

Bad idea with disallowing cash transfers. Kinda sickening to re-map everything or discard a char just because you ran outta money to buy regens or ammo.

Personally got bored after 20 minutes.
Mindless killing.
No value in victory due to unlimited re-spawns and no timers as well as no tangible goals to achieve.
I assumed you would take lessons from the previous event, but it feels just the same only that our names are now BHG and Order instead of KNF and GRN.

Cap 8s on all the battleships is annoying to say the least.
Plenty of people willing to help and it takes all of 5 minutes to make a character template with Remote Desktop.

Don't suppose you noticed my thanking the people that helped me set these ships up, did you? I had 10 other people in the group with me testing and tweaking things.
