HAF Officialization Request - geohxx - 12-09-2010
It is truth, we saw some pilots flying with our tag after some time we were absent in, but I believe that was with no bad intention, because in Gamma exist people who think HAF is a good alternative for a faction, then, really we have had two or three people that we had not met previously, right now we have fixed this to. ( the error is also my responsibility, because they were invited by HAF's member, but without my knowledge) Now we are not recruiting nobody else, because we are doing a roll call of the members that really are active in our rows.
We urged our members to enroll and to participate on the disco forums. Before have not felt welcome, when not being the communication channels, because we are not an official faction, without right, but now, recognize that we are a group that has witness De Facto. And that's why we are here.
We considered that the rules of game in the server are quite hard, okay, it's a hard place to stay, but we are here, then, we are obeying all the rules. Also, many times we got to extremes of intolerance for part of the members of the official factions, that take a walk like peacocks for Gamma and they do not answer when you greet them, in agreement, we obeyed the status quo, But is it necessary to be so hard?, Isn't it better to help a noob?, Getting in touch with him for the private channel and helping to him, working to show him the modus operandi.
In HAF, the ones that cannot speak neither a word of English no longer are, it is impossible to understand the game without understanding one word of English, and this is more difficult when the language here is'nt standard English. Now we all understand, but problems come when the RP appear, for that matter, knowing Sirius's history and the political things and positions of every group also is needed.
We did not consider that the game is an obligation or a religion, the server it is a place where we look for fun and entertainment to, healthily, after a long day in our jobs, in order to finish with the stress. We are not here to get more problems and bad moments. (And we have had a lot of bad moments in HAF, bad moments that our playmates have given us, them know who they are, but thank was finished, fortunately).
By other side, we can't become a official faction huh? yes, that's true, since the rules was changed no many time ago, (after the Sails where recognized as one, since our first ideas for our officialization where posted here, so, i think, and is my own idea, that rule was done with a name in mind: HAF, HAF never must be a official faction) but maybe that rule is'nt enough wise, why? because there are not really lots of factions, because work for built one faction is'nt really easy, it's really a hard way, more if you must define your position in your own ID Group, must rule over your group and must be capable of act with justice with your playmates. After all, we want to become official, if that is'nt possible, well, okay, we will still working for improve our gameway, inside the RP, doing some alliances maybe, and asking for one seat at the Corsair Council too.
Ah, and this is for Coin, Thankyou for your ideas, in fact, invade Eta, using Etna installations is a great idea, we are talking this days about our final destination, we where talking about Delta too, in Yaren base, or Mindelo base in Omega 50.
thank for your support and ideas, we are waiting something more from other members of our community, corsairs and not corsairs.

I fell ashamed to read this thread. Some HAF members have supported the actions of the corsairs. But we are judged by the actions of new players.

Yes Bob, perhaps we let's not reach belongs to official faction's status, but even I have some hope that this can be possible.
Anyway, if it is not possible, we will be one of the more powerful unofficial factions in the server and also in the Corsair Empire.
It is had to do with keeping on working to attain our goal.

As with many things in life it seems that you are more often remembered for the the things that you do that are wrong rather than those that are right.

You may either want to modify the patrol routes you wrote, or enforce the existing ones; earlier there was a HAF in O7 pirating along with a corsair ai. Apart from that the encounter was good.

But i think that it is more important to be reminded that pointed right or wrong. The details are convenient, not important.
The fact is that the HAF has always been there for any corsair who needed help. It's no problem for us to acknowledge mistakes and correct them.

Currently, we are making some modifications about our zoi, that decision may help us to decide where must be our patrol paths, remember, as one militarized faction, we must patrol, control and block some areas and doors near the empire's spaces, that depends of the current politic status with other people like Orders and Zoners...

Haven't met you in a long time, so I don't know, but before, well, very chaotic, being on places where you never should've been, using ships and equipment you never should've touched, confusing people about who's your friend or foe... Yes, we fixed a lot of problems, many of these you said, we are still doing the house cleaning work'¦ for example; we know there are 2 rebels flying Legates across omegas, be sure that people will be punished.
You must take this as one new HAF, one reloaded HAF.
