I could care less about shield busters... I think we can all agree that we should use Adv. Cargo scanners instead of Deep scanners, and maybe heavy/deluxe thrusters, as well? As for CMs, well, we shouldn't be running or trying to shake CDs, which CMs are mostly for, but I still think Adv. would be better, or at least Imp. The regular version, with it's 50% jamming isn't so great, even for us lowly police types. And, squad leader... maybe we should give our squad a name? Eh? Any ideas?

I have to say I am interested. The patriot model being one of my favorites in the game. I'd love to be able to use the liberator though, but we'll see what happens.

I agree on Patriot, I agree to eat doughnuts and I agree to hate my job:DAlso same loadout. Perhaps we could have two Patriot loadouts or so, if people want to make some sort of choice. I will be down with whatever desicion you come up with.

@Zapp - It was an idea suggested, because, there was no one willing to lead this 'faction'.
If there, however, is someone who will keep things strict and right, i'm all for him to be the leader.
Now, when fining people for smuggling and other law breaking, we can actually give them 1 of those "Disco RP 24/7 RP rules" as a ticket.
Or even better, be a corrupted cop, and offer him a better deal without giving him a ticket;)
I mean, wages are pretty small, and families are growing. Someone needs to feed them, right?:)
About loadouts, i suggested 1 for Liberator and 1 for Patriot.
And so did others.
Now, yes, i agree, we will not be "I came here to kick BUTS and chew bubblegum, and i'm all out of bubblegum" guys.
But, we should still be able to fight with Lane Hacker Daggers (PC's, not NPC's) in our Patriots.
If nothing else, for fun then. I think no factions ever fought in such weak ships:)
So, keeping a useful loadout would be a good idea.
And the best loadouts for ALL LF's, are pair of shield busters and pair of hull busters.
If you don't believe me, ask Spear;)
Anyway, if you however decide that we should use 1 missile launcher, 1 lavablade, 2 vengeances, i will support that as well.
And, about that scanner thingy. That's exactly what i had in mind when i said working in pairs, as partners.
One would have a regular long range scanner, the other one would have a Cargo scanner.
And we should use the best cargo scanner, not sure that anyone will object on that one.
It's not like "SCANNER WHORING!":)

I already made my LPI-Jeff.Goodson, Patriot LF.
I will probably make a Liberator too, in the future, but it will mainly stay in garage.
And, if anyone chooses to have both of them, don't do it under the same name please.
Because, why would a cop fly a Patriot junk, when he can fly such a nice thing as a Liberator.
So, make different names for different ships. Thanks.

As for weapons, we don't necessarily need hull damaging weapons. If we have say, all shield busters, it can stop a person mighty fast, if they lose their shields in no time at all.
I've policed (patrolled for cheaters) 2 different servers in the past (Elite & Boston) and often our loadouts were just shield busters. You would be surprised at the stopping power those have. Not only do they drain shields, but also their weapons, so they lose shields and weapons. A huge de-motivator if you ask me.

Because, if you haven't made such a faction like LH, we would probably fight only underlevel people, who just started their playing.
And that is not fun, not in RP, not in PVP.
But, one thing concerns me. At one point, your "recruits" will stop using Daggers, because, there will be no more recruits.
I may be wrong, but, all factions come to that point where no more recruits are needed, or could be found.
I hope your members will keep their Daggers, just for fighting your beloved Cops:)
Yes, our Trainees in Daggers upgrade to other fighters once they are promoted to Technician.
But don't worry. If you gents make an effort to keep under rank 30 Patriots around, I guarantee that you will find some under rank 30 Lane Hackers in Daggers to play with. I will make it happen one way or another. (Although we will probably have to have some sort of non RP coordination with each other to get us all together for some fun in the same places at the same times, but we'll work that out)
I can't wait to fight some Patriots in the Badlands... I can only hope.
