It is not fail because of that. It was the same even bigger event in the same system and there was no problem. It is some kind of technical issue. May be you need to shut the normal server at least for the for the film if the server cannot handle it.

nr of people is not the issue. the Order/Nom/BHG one had more ships in delta than this.

I won't be participating on this until we set a private password.
People can't behave at all.
Even after they were told many times how the rules were, they decided to do whatever they wanted.
Fighters on the KNF group were attacking caps.
BAF players were talking in local chat even after they were told that only Faction leaders were supposed to talk.
After the server came up again, I got shot on my fighter by a BAF BS.
People can't follow simple rules.

Also, the server just can't handle it. this is a bit of an issue.

Indeed this is sad. I must agree with Casero and disagree at the same time. Indeed people are stupid but making it private wont fix it. It will be nice if one admin ship ban the said people from the event server it will work. And just stop the normal server for couple of hours. It is on 24/7 so the issue fixed.
