I don't think that the people in a faction should be able to write the faction off. It affects every player on the server. If they don't want it, give the leadership to someone who does...but don't let brilliant factions die in an instant.

Basic Concept of what we are working on, and I'm trying to get Jansen in this aswell.
The Phantoms are now being developed and re-configured as an intelligence faction, with a mix of what the Order is doing, and a mix of what the LSF is doing. If any of you has ideas for a new phantom faction, please feel free to contact me over on Skype.

I was generally new actually, and when they've created this thread I was offline, and I wasn't asked if I wanted to see this or not. So no, your point is quite invalid.

its about bringing phantom lore to an end without leaving a black hole in disco lore since there were sum RPs with phantoms. so we need a RP reason why they're not there anymore i think.

That's your idea. I don't think that a lot of people will like this. Especially not me. Indeed, that's why we still want to continue and revive the faction.

ending a faction in "dignity" is a good thing... imo - the faction was already a bit beyond its sell date. ( had been like it for a long time - cause even in 4.84 we had discussions about how the phantoms would never had made it to become official with their concept )
reviving a faction is a responsible task - but it should only be done when the faction existed cause it still fit into the "whole" - not cause we want to preserve something ( rules / special treatment ) cause its near impossible to ever gain that again.
leaving no "loose ends" is a bonus.
