I could say, everyone is trusted till something show contrary, or at least neutral to the people ...
People in forums can be hatred towards you for doing your *RP*
Those avoid and i am one of that, i prefer do my own RP depending on my chars ...
Errors can be done, you are human, and a player, like in game, if you find someone doing something should not be doing, try to reach him, inform, or even better, give them a review ...
If you are not able to help other players and persons, avoid their posts, eventually she can be a good RPer with experience and needings, one need to learn, one need to adapt ...
I can be smashed by lot of people, hatred a lot more of players because "what i belive or think" and others cause "people dislike my own RP" ... i must admit, i have received reviews personally on discord and forum private message, and you know what? slightly got an improvement ...
All people need freedom, but giving a hand to a needing one, would be nicely ALWAYS
If you are not nice, then don't expect a lot of someone to be done towards you, if can't help then avoid.
