i created RoS before Disco even existed so i cant particularly class that as joining a faction.
Hrmmmm Technically the 1st faction i joined was the XA before XA existed.... but i didnt join the real XA until a while after..... I dunno NovaPG???? I dunno either it was so long ago i joined a few at the same time so i will just give honorable mentions of the ones i was in at the time of my expansion

I was a staunch Indy for a long time before I joined a faction - Corsair Indy, which of course I still have. My first faction I think was [NLH], still one of my favourite characters. After that, XA and the Keepers, followed by IND.

My first player faction was the [NLH] which was much awesomeness. I almost joined the AFA instead, but went with the Gaians because ecoterrorism is where it's at it seems. A little while after that, I also joined the LWB| as it was forming, and Tinkerbell recruited me into the .:j:. The second two happened right around the same time and were maybe a month after the NLH joining.
Then I used the money Marburg gave me in the NLH to make a Samura Drone which I worked up eventually to a Ryuujin (on the second day 4.85 was out).

Aoi Isejin, i got invited into it and then it got kaboom, after that [RM], i got invited again but i couldn't maintain my "RP-time" because Anne left and i went cba to make a RP post and i've stayed as an indie for [RM]
I'm too lazy to make a RP story or any post... takes too long and seeing that i can't stay away more than 5 lines from my right click...
