Anyway... My concern here, is that a lot of people who are on that list may make fine admins. However, a lot of those people operate on limited time.
Adminning causes your enjoyment of the game to take a pretty serious knock. It means you spend less time flying as a result, meaning you start to lose touch with what's actually happening on the server and the way people feel about things. Your opinions may well be representative of the community's wishes in the beginning, but can very quickly change as your perception of the game changes through lack of time and frustration.
A thick skin and a lot of patience are things that are pretty much requirements. Possibly a little masochism as well...
I've not voted yet. I suggest you don't look down the list for your friends. That's a bad way of dealing with this. If you're not sure about someone, just take a look through their post history, or try to get hold of them on skype to have a chat and see what they're all about (if they've got the time to have a talk with you).
An admin team needs a good mixture of metaphorical teeth and hugs. It needs active people who will stay in touch with the game and remain as active players, not just detached admins. It needs people who are not there for the sake of their own importance, and people who won't needlessly antagonise the community.
Weigh up the pros and cons of each person on the list and take a bit of time over voting.

Joe, as per usual I think you've made a lot of good points.
