I hate to crash a perfectly viable butthurt and cat train, but I have an idea.
Instead of trying to change the mod, which we probably cant just wave a magic wand and do, why not find a way to have fun in the mod?
I feel with you guys especially the argument that theres too much forum slogging. Its boring to be an indie and factions often seem like work more than play. (a few arent, but alot are). My idea fo a soltion is a non-faction group of indies. Just be a bunch of generic IDed ships that fly lolberty in a group, complete with skype channel. bam. No more diplomacy, forum work, or pesky faction hierarchies. Just a group of guys watching each other's backs while doing whatever makes cash (and isnt boring). RP it about the same way.
Heck, do it in Penn and youd even be teaching newbies to RP by example.
Idk. Just a thought.
Getting back on the butthurt train, open up Freelancer ID more. Its not a viable profession to freelance anymore. And that just seems wrong somehow.
