Yeah, because moderating the pony threads into one is important, and keeping his deliberately off-topic spiderman posts on it is even more important.
Obviously this means flood IS moderated, and since the deliberate off-topic stuff is kept I'll take it as either
[a] It is legal to off-topic on purpose and hijack threads in flood, or
[b] abuse of mod powers.

I'm with Starsunder here.
It was a good move to merge the two threads, but not such a good idea to keep the spiderman items.
This is supposed to be a PONY thread after all.
If you want a spiderman thread, make a thread where only spiderman stuff is acceptable, don't go messing up the 'Reservation'.
Note, I'm not a big fan of Ponies, but what is happening here strikes me as kind of wrong.....
