I need to add that Casero ordered everyone to retreat, but Karolis still chased me all the way to the Sovereign regardless. When you are ordered by a official faction member in their event, you will listen to the order.
And yes, we were chasing Fumio quite far. I couldnt expect that he will go hug the BS though. When he did that, I was already typing an order to get back to the transport. But you couldnt wait, you opened fire instead.
I dont know what grudge you guys hold against BAF, but it needs to stop. Youre just creating bad thoughts and flaming like this by your acts.

I hope you don't mean hug the bs in a bad way. I was FLEEING the battle. It just so happened that the best way to RP that would be to flee to the battleship for repairs. Once again - I repeat myself. I was not intending you guys to follow me. i was also not intending you guys to keep chasing me over the 5k that I thrusted. However, I also did not expect the battleship to fire.

Well, seeing as it's toned down a bit I guess I will try to help clear things up.
When someone is fleeing, quite often they are chased quite a long way, until they are deemed untouchable or have just drawn everyone too far away from the main fight if the group separates. Before the BS opened up, you were with no shields and low health. As for me I was shooting you still while doing damage before I noticed I was getting ripped apart by Solaris's. Not only that, none of us expected that the Battleship would rip us up when we got near. A lot of us were ignoring non group chat based around the fact of the RP going around, so we could focus on the fight and not get distracted, so even the verbal warning didnt help, not that it should have occurred in the first place.
Though as expressed earlier, the battleship was meant to observe, not batter things to dust. As reference to me has come up, a rule of thumb in Battleships is to basically be patient, the bigger you are, the less you do. I expect to do far less shooting in my Battleship than any other ship, along with my Destroyers which I would also expect to not shoot often. I use that generally, but especially in events. Indies take second class in events, they are ran by the official factions involved. Indies are there as a guest, it's a privilege to attend the event as an indie, not a right. There is no reasoning required to tell Indies to shove off.

Well I don't really mind you chasing me, I'm just trying to shake off all the comments about me during this, I don't believe I did anything wrong. I don't have a problem with you guys chasing me, I do have a problem with:

Back on topic, if we really want a BAF v KNF cap battle, how much would the Kusari Battleship need to be nerfed in order to compete with a Bretonian Battleship? I'm kinda talking about a bretonian with a cap 8 and maybe a lesser Kusari battleship? (this idea will get shot down, but if people like blowing things up in caps...)

Not really in a bad way. It was logical. But the Battleship's impatience resulted in it shooting us and giving you bots.
As I said, I was already going to type an order to retreat back to the transport, I did type it in the end, but it was after the BS opened up on us. There was nothing wrong with fleeing to the BS.
And yes, we usually chase people quite far away, especially when theyre already low on hull and nearly dead. In RP its logical to cause as much losses and damage as you can do. We let people run if it drags too long though.

EDIT: Sorry if "hugging the BS" sounds harsh, it wasnt meant to sound like that.
Also, problem with the BSs is that Ku BS has longer gun range while being only slightly bigger than Bret BS, along with many other factors. BS pilots would explain better.

Fully even cap battles are likely never to occur, simply due to the way things work with them, current going rate the Kusari BS hands down beats the Bret BS.

I distinctly remember a certain battle between a Kusari Destroyer and a Bretonian Destroyer that happened one fight. That was awhile ago, however.

But srsly, we could do a dessie duel sometimes. Or a battle with dessies with escorts on both sides. Just no BSs and gunboats.
Group fights of that kind are usually a pain for caps though, since once your shields are down, your screen will shake like there is no tomorrow. You also need quite a lot of people. And Ku dessie with BRs is just ouch. Last time I was BRed to hell in a Templar.
If we organise something beforehand, sure it can be with caps.
