RE: Kudos! - Locksmith - 05-26-2025

Kudos to everyone at Halifax from me as well. Was really fun.

RE: Kudos! - Petitioner - 05-26-2025

Massive kudos to everyone today, from the funeral service in Dublin to the enormous crowd of comers and goers at Halifax to our new Maquisard friend that took us on a wild tour. TFP) clocked a fucking day and a half of activity today, twelve hours of which was me alone, and I don't regret a minute of it.

You're too numerous to list, but thank you all for the best day I've had in a while, and libera te ex infernis. <3

RE: Kudos! - Weapon - 05-26-2025

I hardly have words for today. @Petitioner summed most of it up perfectly already, but an incredibly massive thank you to everybody who helped make today what it was. I hope people continue to come find us, even when we're less out of place and at home in our usual stomping grounds, and that today helped give more of the server a better idea of we in TFP are and what we're about. One of my best days on Discovery, period.

RE: Kudos! - Sand-Viper - 05-27-2025

Okay, I have a slew of REALLY late Kudos here, for interactions with the Gaelic.Wyvern.Inn - Apologies for the delays, and for the Wall-O-Text. I've tried to format things to make reading easier.

May 8th:
  • Kudos to Bessie and Eternal.Journey for the pleasant exchange near Gran Canaria! As I recall, I know Bessie couldn't stick around due to the first round of days of the Even Chance event, but it was still nice to see you, again!
As to the Eternal.Journey, I'm hoping that some day in the future, we can try and put our heads together regarding that FP11 mystery involving J's friend.

May 10th:
  • Shout-out to the Iron.Teeth for ordering one of everything! Amongst the many transports who have professed being too "busy," you've been the one exception thus far who still paused long enough for a happy lil' exchange!
  • Ozei had one heck of a time trying to figure out communications with Sleepyhead the AI Cruiser! It was nonetheless a fun exercise in getting my neurons seriously firing to have Ozei pick and choose his words carefully. I'm still half-expecting Core#74 to show up with uh, questionably sourced "beef" some day, lol.
  • A fine exchange was had too, with DTR-CNS>Imperiowolf! Sorry to hear that you got thrashed by the Coalition shortly after getting your food!
  • Very much enjoyed our conversation with the ALF's Metrosh and Strella! Hadn't expected to cook for an entire destroyer crew, nor did we expect a separate payment bundle for appetizers and entrees! o_o;

May 12th:
  • Kieran, congratulations - You've been the first Corsair EVER to invite Ozei and Kayla to the Cretan home world! It was a great excuse for the Gaelic Wyvern to move away from Gran Canaria. Despite us offering to provide your meal in exchange for escorting us the whole way to Crete, it was still very kind of you to provide a quick mission's reward offerings to us for your Steak and Mushroom Pie! The minefield + near-corona experience of the neutron star along the way had my heart pumping a bit, lol.
  • Nina.Rodriguez of The Brotherhood! I was really SUPER glad that you came along when you did. Any later, and Kieran would have already docked to log for bed, and wouldn't have been able to verify having brought us to Crete themselves. The all-2.00 loadout on that Titan of yours had me (and Ozei) nervous, though Nina's wariness of a pair of unknown vessels floating outside her home world was 100% justified, heh!
When Nina asked for a couple of bottles of whiskey from each of us, no joke, I IRL shouted "FINALLY, a Corsair with some TASTE for something besides rum!!" Was really cool to see a member of an old-blood faction, and felt special for the Gaelic Wyvern and its support Pelican to be given her 'benediction' to enjoy the Festival for an evening. (Also the colored /si infocard had me going "WHAT, you can COLOR THESE THINGS, now!?" <Excited snek noises!>

May 21st:
  • I was quite excited to see DTR-CCS>Nave.Fantasma, when I realized "Heyyy, this is the 'Sair who was with the big ol' dreadnought blowing up transports while we served Starflier Halpert his Gyozas!!" It was a little disheartening to hear that you'd had so much trouble getting shot at while simply trying to hand out rum in Liberty. At least we were able to get'cha +2 event points for the Grand Fiesta, and it felt nice to see a repeat visitor and help someone get their event points!

May 24th:
Holy. Crap. I was NOT expecting such a HUUUGE turn-out of players for the Gaelic.Wyvern.Express' maiden voyage!! We wanted a Dorado as a 2nd ship choice, in case we ever need to park the main Inn somewhere for a pre-planned get-together.
It was AWESOME to see SO MANY PEOPLE (and so VARIED, too!) in New Tokyo orbit!
  • Yui.Kusaka, you were the catalyst that brought everyone together. Just by you being there first, got the Mrs. and I to stop to talk. Soon enough, others came to investigate the cause of increased traffic in New Tokyo - THANK you!!
  • DTR-CNS>Mors_Certissima, you shocked the heck out of me with how boldly you approached Kusari's capital planet like that! It was really cool seeing someone play out different characters on-board a masssive war cruiser!
  • Laplace.Vector, it was so darn lovely to see you, as well. Kayla and I had to start writing down food/drink orders on PAPER when we had three sets of them coming in all at once! Ya'll really had us hustling to keep up, but it was SUPER immersive to feel like we were in an actual, real life busy eatery!
I'm a little sad Ozei couldn't get the chance to meet Miss Camille face-to-face, like Kayla did. Raincheck, maybe? By then, Ozei will have drone-controls set up for the Kin Delivery Freighter, so he'll be able to stay aboard the Express Dorado, rather than be stuck in the Kin while others moor with the mini-restaurant. Oh, and the fact that Camille and Yui are flippin' fellow RACERS has Ozei excited for future encounters, both as a food serviceman and a race competitor!
  • ZDF-Hinaichigo, I was not expecting an old red trimmed, Zoner Argus to stop by! When I saw you trying to whisper the Mrs. for a mere few units of cargo, I was like "Ahh yess, I gotta link them our menuu!!" Your follow-up whisper reactions to the tinyurl link, then subsequent hype-comment had me pumped!

It has been just... so wonderful interacting with everyone thus far, and we are looking forward to even more interactions with both repeat guests, and new faces alike, in the future!

Kudos for the huge brawl in Ontario earlier. Fun fight, would die again.

Ditto to the Ontario brawl. A good bit of carnage, and surprisingly balanced too.

  • Lazurith
Was a fun time, I honestly thought it was going to end at the Freeport, but as soon as you mentioned your LIDAR system, figured I'd take it a step further. Really loved our journey in Tau-23 Smile
