This is a known issue, and we've lived with it for long enough. (Engines are weak, but the trick is to not show your ass to the enemy, thereby they can't shoot you there.:)) You may change your ship if you must, but the rest of us shall retain our Liberty and Osiris-class ships.

Sirs, this is Major Gruber onboard the HFC-Fafnir!
I received your messages regarding the skirmishes with the SCRA. Unfortunately, without long range communications I didn't learn of the HFs trouble earlier.
We were on a routine patrol in the Unknowns near our Outcast allies homeworld, Malta, when we were ambushed by a large nomad fleet. Most of their ships were badly damaged already, so they were either remnants of the large forces we spotted some weeks ago or troops from a failed assault operation.
No matter; they were still far superior in numbers and though we managed to grant two nomad battleships their coup de grace and blow several smaller vessels to smithereens, they finally overtook us.
Our shields were failing and we lost contact with the engine room, so we steered outta there using nothing but thrusters, holding the pursueing nomads at bay. Finally, we cleared the green cloud, found a small pocket of open space, and the nomads broke off their attack.
That's where my crew and I were stranded for the last two weeks, Sirs. Several of my repair- and engineering-crew died or were severely injured in the last blow that knocked out our main propulsion, so the repairs went slowly. Our supplies were nearly drained when we finally got cruise engines back online...
Earlier today, we reached Malta. The Outcasts gave us some spare parts, including new long range comm equipment. Furthermore, they detached a fighter wing to escort us back to Vespucci. We are currently in Bretonia's hinterland, but coming closer fast.
But still, once we reach Phoenix shipyard, the Fafnir will be in dock for several weeks, I estimate.
The repairs we managed to do were mostly duct-taping things back together. We are lucky if we can dock with Phoenix without the Fafnir blowing up!
Well, I'll keep you posted, Sirs. I'm very sorry my crew and I won't be of much help in the upcoming battles against the SCRA... but I'm afraid these repairs cannot be postponed.

As you already know, we stripped bare the Ven'Gyr of all it's Nox improvements. We sent it for some testings into Omicron Minor, to battle with the Nomads. We knew that the Liberty ships are flawed, and we didn't trusted our lives with this faulty piece of hardware. So, we used the Sopho to observe. The ship fought and defeated 2 Nomad Battleships, and it had a hard time to destroy them. On it's way back, it was destroyed by a Liberty Navy patrol, in conjunction with 2 Bounty Hunter Destroyers. But, not to fear that the latest of the Legion's Battleships has fallen... nor the enemies should think that we are easy target now.
We have a very nasty surprise for our foes... more details in the days to come. Ven'Gyr has fallen, we will never forget that ship, and the memories we hold about it.

This is Lyania agien, we have dealt with the SCRA in Vespucci for now, a AW responded, but he came a few seconds after the two were riddled out of the system. The two SCRA came from Magellan, entering into Vespucci from the jump gate there. We fought, guns blazing, when eventually the one piloting the Raven's Talon, I believe his ID said Ares, was shot up, forcing him out of the system (Blew up). The other one... Ivan I believe, was destroyed shortly after, piloting a Eagle. I am happy to inform you that there were no friendly casualties in this raid. I am curious why they presist to have their asses handed to them, yeesh! The Leigon has proved its might once more.

The presence of an SCRA fighter is known to me. The Chimaera has fought him 3 times. Haven't killed him yet, but we did destroy his weaponry once, and sent him running to Manchester and New York in two subsequent engagements. Grand Vizier Val'ren will be bringing his fighter along to deal with him, as the Chimaera is improperly fit to deal with fighters.

Sir, I believe we should change the requirements for Ace status. 10 kills (ooc: PvP, against anyone, but we have to have permission to attack them or they have to open fire first), I believe, would be good (ooc: No more 1000 NPC kills, that's a bit... ridiculous. NPCs are weak, it's just basically a time waster imo.).

Sirs, There has been more action at Magellan, and the JH to Vespucci in Magellan. A few minutes after the two SCRA fighters were disposed, I joined up with Aralie at vespucci. Eventually, we picked up a SCRA pilot at Magellan, and we went into Magellan to assess the situation, only to find the heavy fighter pilot Totenkopt, witch me and Aralie engaged. He evaded and dodged here and there, eventually slipping up and running into Aralies torpedo, and we all know what the effect of THAT was. We went back into Vespucci, grouping up with Iron Crucifix. Aralie then went to rest up at America Base, he needed the rest, had a buisy day. A few minutes after, we picked up another SCRA pilot at Magellan. Iron Crucifix and I went out of vespucci agien. I waited 17.1K away from Freeport 4, and Iron Cruciix guarded at the Vespucci gate, in case the gunboat tried to pull a fast one on us. We waiting for a pilot coming on his way, Eric, piloting a bomber, because scouts have confirmed that we were up agienst a gunboat. He eventually arrived, and we grouped up at freeport four... and there was no gunboat, allthough it just so happened that a bomber undocked freeport four after we arrived, so we engaged. Focusing on dodging and stalling time, an Asguard Warrior gunboat came to help, witch the bomber engaged, and regretfuly heavily damaged (died). We then took down the bomber after he took out the gunboats engines and half of its power, so she had to head back for repairs. Then after all of this, we spotted a phantom, Dececrator, near mactan, the trade lanes to be exact, and engaged. Shortly after the gunboat that previously dissapeared, Sundered Heart, came to the aid of the Phantom (Had full nomad cruiser cannons... but alas, no screenies, no proof.) After this, the pilot Totenkopt came back for a second round, and I personally tried to take him down. I believe I could have, but then a phantom bomber came in and intreviened, so I had to change targets, just in case he took me down. When I got his shields down, yet another Phantom came in... and I think there might have been one more. They got Iron Crucifix and Eric out of the fight by now, so I was outnumbered. I ended up escaping back to Vespucci (I died), though after this they did not engage us any more from what I can tell so far.

I want you ALL training like HELL on the PVP server with EVERYTHING you can get. If it goes in space learn how to kick people's asses with it. I will be making a pvp server fighter and I expect to see pilots on for training. You don't need armor on the PVP server just a good fighter with guns.
