"Potato soup," she muses, looking over to the door.
"I guess you eat here a lot?"

Lennox scratches his head, nodding slowly.
"Well....I admit that I am so often here as possible. Someone told me that it wouldn't be good for me to stay alone for more than four hours or so...so I am visiting this place and try some things here."
Looking at her with a slight smile, he then emptis his cup of coffee and places it back on the table.

"Perhaps you could get youself assigned to an Orisis? I'm sure there would be plenty more company then, or one of your carriers? A pilot like you wouldn't be turned down I'm sure."
Scarlet holds her drink lightly, tilting it from side to side in both hands, but her eyes remain on Lennox

Looking up from his cup to her, Lennox shrugs briefly.
"Sometimes I am on the Eclipse, watching the activity there a bit. But to be honest...I don't like to be in a huge ship like that. It is too easy for enemies to hit such a big ship. Hmm....but more company sounds good..indeed. Heh...but at the moment I got company...more than enough..."
Looking into Scarlet's eyes, he releases a slight smile.

Scarlet chuckles, running her fingers through her hair absently, her other hand leaving the cup to rest on the table.
"I'm not much of a pilot. I wouldn't know how to get off the ground, I'm afraid all I'm suited for is 'big ships'"

Lennox smiles but shakes his head, like he wouldn't believe what she is saying, keeping a wryly smile.
"Ooh....I guess you are underestimating your own skills then. I have seen you flying around very well. But heh....don't you like to fly around alone sometimes? Just watching space without any sound around you?"

"No, I much prefer to have the chatter of my bridge crew for company. Even on the night shift there's at least a half-dozen officers on deck, always someone to talk, to listen. It's peacefull to watch the stars go by in comfort and company."
She sighs almost whistfully, looking towards Lennox before reinstating her smile.
"But I'm sure this is boring, no?"

Focusing on her words, Lennox thinks a bit before, leaning a bit forward to speak.
"Hmm...I am afraid it isn't. You know...the hull of fighters is much lower than from most other ships. There only have to be one exploding gas pocket in space....yeah..you know. But on the other side...it is sometimes depressing to know there is nobody to talk to except over the communication channels. But I guess I am used to it already...even if I wish to have some more social contact in my life...."
He sighs, looking down into his empty cup as he speaks about a topic he already thought about a lot of times.

Scarlet raises an eyebrow, looking over at Lennox for a moment in silence.
"Space is a dangerous place I suppose. Perhaps you should request a gunboat placement? A little safer, and a little more company."

He looks up at her from his cup, smiling slightly. He shakes his head, almost not notable, sighing before speaking in a lower tone.
"I grew up with this...I could not image to be a part of a commanding structure on a ship when it depends to life or death of crew members and my own. Let's say....I am just not the right person for commanding a bigger class ship....unlike you..."
