Back off Yber,

At least these blokes aren't actually like you.

At least these people play the game for what it is, not be a douche like you and your DPC buddies.

Keep up the good work Kaz and Thex, he may have brought up some points for you to consider, but also realize he's just trying to be a prick.

Our free passage through Bretonia and Liberty makes the first two viable, and Kansas isn't that far from Tau space thanks to Baffin. We're not using large ships for it; snubs and cargo ships, so even though we go pretty far, it's reasonable to supply on Zoner, Junker, and other friendly bases. I haven't even seen one of our gunships since we stopped trying to kill people in Liberty.

I would posit a counterpoint. In general the server's nowhere near as active as it used to be. Trying to pen any faction in too small an area may well lead to its death, if that area's inactive. See also: Kusari. Perhaps letting a few people extend their ZoI to dead regions will help with the activity there.

I have been pirated several time on my platinum account, a DSE organisation. When did you stop attacking liberty targets?

About a month/a month and a half ago.

RE: Vagrant Raiders (VR-) - Druen78 - 08-27-2013

Maybe a bit more.

// sorry, wrong thread

EDIT2: Wrong thread acknowledged.

Free bump though?

This thread has officially superseded our old feedback thread.

RE: Vagrant Raiders (VR-) - Ponge - 08-27-2013

So, I'd like to continue the argument I entered in the ither now closed thread. So I reply to this:
http://discoverygc.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=26308&pid=1396596#pid1396596

Then you should add the term "offender" to the line to make it fool-proof, like:
-- Can demand cargo and credits from offending ships in Kansas, the Independent Worlds, Omegas, Taus, and Rheinland, and attack them if they do not comply.

OR, if you still want to pirate in Rheinland and the other independent worlds,

-- Can demand cargo and credits from offending ships in Kansas, and from any ships in the Independent Worlds, Omegas, Taus, and Rheinland, and attack them if they do not comply.

This may be more clear and it may put the traders, who scan the ID, into a more relaxed state and make them less jumpy. In my opinion, this text is misunderstandable in it's current state. I'm just saying, the current text may make traders anxious because of the piracy reason I outlined earlier.

We don't have an ID yet, so at this point our current draft of the VR ID means literally nothing. We currently follow the regulations attached to the Pirate and Freelancer IDs.

While I'm inclined to agree, it seems like you've skipped past the part of the argument where certain people were saying we'd just change our enemies every time we wanted someone different to shoot. Change "enemies" to "laws" and the whole thing will just repeat itself.

On a different, but related note, it makes sense for traders to be a little uneasy and jumpy around us. It's not exactly a secret that we used to be pirates.

Ultimately the final wording of the ID, if we even get it, is up to the admins of course. I don't expect it to exactly line up with our request, and they'll probably address the Kansas issue when the time comes.

I am dissapointed by the distinct lack of tears.
HOW WILL YOU CONTINUE TO SURVIVE WITHOUT TEARS.
