Have YOU ever done the Diamond - Niobium run? - Jihadjoe - 12-15-2008 DON'T GO THROUGH CHUGOKU!!! Have YOU ever done the Diamond - Niobium run? - BaconSoda - 12-15-2008
Have YOU ever done the Diamond - Niobium run? - sovereign - 12-15-2008 I <3 Bacon. By the way, if the VF catch you with diamonds we'll eat you alive. No tax, drop it all. Find another route. There's plenty that are more profitable when you take pirates into account. Have YOU ever done the Diamond - Niobium run? - Vergil - 12-15-2008 Meh, I got it good with the Dragons, I was one. Have YOU ever done the Diamond - Niobium run? - looqas - 12-15-2008 Bacon: That poster is diamond! For indie traders: Here's a short and well paid route and absolutely no pirates. Not the maximum single run profits, but it still pays well since it's so short. From Munchen (the station orbiting the planet. I just can't the name of it) take prisoners to Vierland through Frankfurt -> Hamburg jump hole. And fly to Planet Hamburg and take Passangers back to Augsburg. Very simple. 2 quiet system, occasional Bundschuh only. But my main route is Beryllium - Eng. Comps. Occasional pirates which make the thing a bit more interesting. Or the ever-green Newark - LD-14 and back. But I haven't done it in a while since I'm terribly tempted to use Magellan - Leeds hole, which I too consider a bit of OORP flying past the secret Hacker base. But hey, you can actually buy the location of these hole (at least the Leeds hole in Magellan) from Sheffield station so... The only problem in Rheinland end of the diamond - niobium route is the location of the S-13 hole. Too close to Planet and lane. If it were somewhere in upper quadrant then it would be much more ok. And the associated OORP behaviour this maximum quick bucks route causes. Have YOU ever done the Diamond - Niobium run? - Tenacity - 12-15-2008 A couple of times on my samura trader when trying to find decent in-rp trade routes - however, I didnt go through chugoku like most of them do, and I took the frankfurt gate over the berlin jump hole. Turns out that if you do the route properly, it kinda sucks for making cash =P Oh, I also took them to tokyo, instead of all the way to kyushu... Have YOU ever done the Diamond - Niobium run? - Capt. Henry Morgan - 12-15-2008 I used to have a Daumann tagged/ID'd trader that I ran on various RP routes for the company. Then came the day I took on the Dia-Nio route using TL's. Then, I shortcutted it by taking the S-13 Jump Hole. I realized, after a couple runs, that I had become a powertrader with only slightly better RP. I deleted the character soon afterwards, and haven't run dia-nio since. Have YOU ever done the Diamond - Niobium run? - Stoat - 12-15-2008 I've run it a few times, but I like to do it when there's plenty of players in Chugoku and Hokkaido. Makes it more risky, and fun. Trying to run through Chugoku should be lethal. It's not for the money, it's for the white knuckle ride through all those pirates. Have YOU ever done the Diamond - Niobium run? - teschy - 12-15-2008 I've done it a couple of times, waaaay back. Too many '2 mil or dai' and other specimens really made me look for other routes. Plus, it's boring as hell to do the same route over and over, for hours. Have YOU ever done the Diamond - Niobium run? - D56 - 12-15-2008 It's simple, you go to Chugoku, you die. You go trough Sigma 13, you get taxed and die. Just to warn people that NovaPG is still alive and like Joe said, don't go trough Chugoku. :nono: |
