Having screwed around in POV-Ray quite a bit in the past, I decided to try my hand at them. These are done using the same basic method as the tutorial from LA-384, but exporting to POV-Ray instead of 3dsMax (it's also free). Comments welcome. I couldn't get the 'glow' right, but the transparency is all here. They look a little more purple ingame, but I'm trying to use only the textures in the actual models. Each render took between 30 seconds and 2 minutes to run on my current computer, so I can change stuff pretty easily if someone has suggestions. Feel free to use them, I'll do others too if people want.
