RE: [Official Event] - Running the Gauntlet - Ramke - 12-01-2018 I have to say, after the first wave flop the latter ones were really fun. Sadly I had to go before the final wave, but good luck to everyone else. Thank you for not giving up on the negativity and turning it into something positive, organisers. RE: [Official Event] - Running the Gauntlet - Durandal - 12-01-2018 It's not over yet. RE: [Official Event] - Running the Gauntlet - Ikarus_Hagen - 12-01-2018 Can't the navy just win that? A lot of us are tired and couldn't understand the really annoying “oops, engine fail“ thing. Also i saw that the cruisers flew not on full impulse, more like 40-45 RE: [Official Event] - Running the Gauntlet - Lucas - 12-01-2018 (12-01-2018, 11:01 PM)Ikarus_Hagen Wrote: Can't the navy just win that? Also i saw that the cruisers flew not on full impulse, more like 40-45 They are supposed to fly on NPC speed, around 30 from what I know. The fact that you got 3 free cruisers because of screwups is way more unfair than the engine fail thing. RE: [Official Event] - Running the Gauntlet - Couden - 12-01-2018 If Devs want to destroy Bretonia, why doesn't you just delete it? >The time has end >5Cruisers are in safe against 4 destroyed. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2k0SmqbBIpQ RE: [Official Event] - Running the Gauntlet - Connor - 12-01-2018 Really nice event to watch. Was doing quite a bit of recording. Didn't realise how long I was recording for. 45 minutes all at 2k qq. Am rendering the video and I will upload it here. If anyone wants to use any of this for a video they are going to make feel free to hit me up and I can send you the files. 20 GBs of stuff though lmao. Was getting a lot of this for a video I'm working on ![]() Edit: RIP
RE: [Official Event] - Running the Gauntlet - Its Raisu - 12-01-2018 I wasn't around for the first or 2nd wave but if there were definitely some server issues for it then there should have been an additional wave to make up for it once those issues were resolved. RE: [Official Event] - Running the Gauntlet - Corpus13 - 12-01-2018 2nd and 3rd waves were really fun. I also don't understand why Navy team is crying about enginges and additional wave. You have had more players. You have got free 3 cruisder from the first bugged wave. What's the point of this all then? RE: [Official Event] - Running the Gauntlet - Sombs - 12-01-2018 Kudos to the people playing the LSCs. Great RP during the event. I just wished Mep and that TBH troll would have shut their system-wide memeing. RE: [Official Event] - Running the Gauntlet - Lythrilux - 12-01-2018 Why were 4 cruisers spawned in the final wave? If wave 1 counted (which christ, it shouldn't), that's just an automatic win for Bretonia and Liberty. There was no way we could kill 3 cruisers. We can barely kill 2. Which on that note.... Something felt off in the final round on top of the extra Cruiser. As far as we could tell, only one of our ships logged off for that round (and I think we might have even gained a ship to cancel that out). Our level of DPS shouldn't have changed yet we only downed one. I don't want to sound like a sore loser, since one of the cruisers in the second round was practically given to us before we figured out Novas were better than Scorchers (and we could down them on our own thereafter), but so many aspects of this event were so tedious and annoying and it's disheartening to hear that all these hiccups are contributing to a story status quo where big strongk Liberty can never lose, and #DeleteGallia clique gets to pat itself on the back by feeling like they've come one step closer to stomping it into the ground. Honestly, I just kind of want us to go back to the drawing board and try again. I'm torn between the moments in the event where I had genuine fun (Meph and I taking on wave upon waves of snubs singlehanded at Planet NL was a highlight) and the ones were I just wanted to smash my head into my keyboard. We can do better, much better. |
