I've been refraining from posting, but really, its truly fascinating that the cancer, flames and misinformed spam-hate comes entirely from the famously cancerous group of players in our community. Just saying, if you're going to call the Imperial side out, maybe don't use the vote thread to prove beyond the shadow of any doubt that you are the issue (and absent of any information or knowledge on the subject), not the Imperial players. Interesting that.

Obviously we want imperial plot, we've been saying so for almost a year. I would hope to see it implemented well with a good story set in the context of the RP situation that has been developing over the past few months in particular. There's been a large number of suggestions as to how over the past month, and again in this thread - though admittedly alot of the ones in this thread suffer from being uniformed or biased, the point is clear: there is plot option, so give us something good to play Smile

Well, Rheinland can invade, expand and have good storylines without this change. On the flipside, this change has no guarantee it will break the infamous story deadlock of Houses being forced to follow stale breadcrumb trails instead of pursuing interesting plot lines or having the freedom to do what they want.

M-mhm... Mhm, of course. I haven't played DFL for six years, you know. And when I returned everything was exactly as it is now. So, apparently not only my "toxic" opinion is the cause of "kneeling".

Much can be done. But, nah, we definitely need to do the "Imperial Rheinland" right now. What for? Change for change's sake, eh? Especially considering that most of the voters don't even like Rheinland and made their choice just because of "lewl-we-can-click-yes-duh". Not very sure about the rationality of this idea.

RE: Poll: Imperial Rheinland - Darkseid667 - 07-14-2019

Just stop the political shenanigans and concentrate on saving the Munich system instead - maybe with the help of AGEIRA. The loss of the main planet there could indeed destabilize and weaken the political system in Rheinland. Installing big space stations that harvest Dark Matter for energy production could instead be fun events and bring $$$ profit.

If you want some war, try getting the dev's to RP some Nomad invasion into Gallia.

(voted "No")

If you read my previous post, you'd see that I don't support this pointless change.

At the same time, I don't like when people gatekeep stuff, especially when they haven't been around for years. Rheinland doesn't belong to anyone, and you don't have to like it in order to participate in its development.

Polls aren't anonymous. Forum staff can see who voted.

Although without Vex around I doubt anyone will want to flex on people hard enough to go through every result and check the IP addresses, so perhaps you're right.

I’m all for aggressive expansion, but an empire? It’s a bit too spicy for me.

Going by your logic, we should remove the Coalition from the mod because the atrocities of the communist regimes in Europe and Asia are still echoing in our society to this day.

Agreed. Remove them.

I do agree it's silly to use the real-world as the basis for a concern, it would be more appropriate to say that given the behavior of the Rheinland lawful leadership that this story-line development might turn out.. less than appropriate. There have already been quite a few instances of questionable behavior from that side.
