Anyone can beat a bad player, try taking on two bombers who actually know what they're doing and know how to work together, see how that goes. It wont be pretty, at least, not from the cap's point of view.

It only seems to be you two, who have some of the largest ships in the game.
Yes, we could make Heavy Battleship Solaris and Flak to make it reach the fighters, but then all the lighter ones would mount it and rape everything.
Tenacity, with 18 hardpoints on that monster, I think you could put Solaris Turrets on either end and flaks in the middle. Problem solved.
Cam, that ship isn't really PvP-oriented. It's a "pull it out when you need it" or an RP ship. Now if you had a justifiable reason, it wouldn't sound like angry ranting. Also, I included Secondaries, which, last time I looked at a certain thread, had slightly faster projectiles than the Primaries.
Now Tenacity, the whole point of a Carrier is to deploy fighters. Fly with the NPCs or make a group with some Order or Corsair players.
Whatever you guys need to kill small things for, you'd be better off with the Cruiser/Destroyer class ships of your respective factions - or at least find one to fly with.
Now, do we hear the Outcast Dread pilots or the Liberty Carrier pilots or the Kusari Battleship pilots or Rheinland Battleship pilots whining about this?
No, we don't. Your ships are no different from theirs, really. They have the same problems of not being able to shoot Solaris turrets effectively.
These large battleships are meant for anti-capital warfare. As for the Order Carrier, it's an exception to the rule. But let's think about what we get ourselves into before we whine, shall we?

Well it's quite obvious from this response that you dont actually fly any of these ships, or you'd realise that the carrier cannot equip any flak guns.

Yes, lets take that journey to lalaland where the carrier can actually do what it's meant to and launch NPC fighters - in that imaginary world, it's perfectly balanced.
But, once again, maybe this will get through your earplugs this time - that is not possible right now. You cannot balance a ship based on it performing actions that it cant actually do. I can RP launching fighters in system chat all day long, but it doesnt stop that liberty player from kicking my backside, and it doesnt stop that swarm of BHG NPC capships from wrecking me when i'm running missions.

I'm sorry you can't mount flaks or use Solaris turrets, but if you can Cam have so many problems with your ships, get something else.
If this helps at all, you know you're taking the high ground for the RP when you're not the one WTFraping everything.

After our fight against the bhg in lost today, I can firmly say that BHG gunships, along with other small gunboats, are either extremely overpowered, or cruiser razors still need a speed boost.
You cant even hit those things with cruiser primaries at close range, how the hell are we supposed to use razors against them that have lower speed?

I am not complaing about MY ship.
Tenacity wants his carrier changed.
Im just complaining about HOW BAD solaris's fail, razors do to, to a lesser degree. Solaris needs a bigger range and slightly more damaging for them to be even remotely effective against NPCs, and as a "Repellant" although i really dont even understand that stupid concept. Bombers can get you out of range of your weapons, so what is the point of getting a cap in the first place. And i swear to god if you say escorts im going to explode.
