Recent engagements with the Cylons have revealed a weakness in our pilot corps that needs to be eliminated. Your CAGG has made great progress in both viper modifications and pilot training but it is only the beginning. You have all heard the rumors about Project Redeye and for now I will leave them as just rumors. However I can tell you that early next year we will add a new dimension to our disciplines. LT Helion is to depart for location Zebra in 36 hours where he will remain for the following 12 days. During Galactica's refit it will be important for everyone to follow the chain of command. In Orion's absence the CAGG's 2nd in command will be Achilles.
Long range comms have contacted a new Colonial refugee from out-sector who goes by the name of Hawk. He is currently making his way to the core worlds and will need assistance in rejoining the fleet. On-duty CAP should keep a weather eye out for his return.

I have suspended my activities with the Quorum of 12 to be party to a discussion that included leaders from the SCRA and the ELF. The ELF seem to have an interest in fostering peace with our 3 factions. No conclusions have been made, however to keep channels open, SCRA and [CR] have mutually stood down to "unfriendly" status. We are also curtailling all policing actions and changing LDinc. status to "unfriendly' until discussions have concluded.

Sorry to barge in,
I realize that the Ambassador has gone into retreat for a period; bit he left Canaria so quickly after our last gab session that he forgot the nomad brains we had asked him to transport. We wish to aid in the terraforming research being conducted at Planet Ayr.
We have entered Cambridge space from the southern approach, but have been forced to heave to, due to extraordinary radiation sleeting and interference from a nearby supernova. When the storm clears up, we shall proceed again to Planet Ayr for transfer of the nomads to a CR Vessel.
Oh, and be sure there's room for five dozen or so Gaian refugees. They apparently wish to relocate to Leeds or the inner worlds. I believe there may be repercussions within the Gaian hierarchy over the recent assassination.

It seems the Panonnia has gone missing. We haven't heard from her since her last transmission in the Dublin system on the way out to meet you. Maintanence logs report some transponder trouble that our mechanics neglected to service (they are in the brig as I transmit this.) I've dispatched SAR to Dublin as well as some recon vipers to ascertain her whereabouts and effect a rescue if necessary. Since the Ambassador is on vacation I'm afraid Nomad transfers will have to wait. There is a possibility that Saggitron may assist you and we are looking into that but for the moment I'm afraid we are just waiting for word.

It would appear the Goddess Eris is having her way with us both.
I commiserate with your fleet's malfunctions. That hinky stormy put us behind several days in our own goals here at the COEE. In fact, due to these delays, we were forced to divest ourselves of the Nomad brains intended for you. Due to some shortcomings in our ramshackle Nomad containment units, the beasts were getting restless, and were giving the crew splitting headaches and grotesque dreams.
However, Admiral, we have also used the unexpected delay to investigate the "Gaian problem". We find that they are indeed a major part of the unrest and danger in the Edinburgh area. During our fact-finding sweep, over a hundred of the blighters have come into our possession. We would like to exchange these in place of the Nomad bits as a gesture of good will.
Talks proceed apace with our prospective "Contractor" for the Gaian problem. They seem quite interested at the Board Level, and are anxious to finish contract negotiations once the Ambassador returns. This would pave the way for completing our negotiations as well; provided the appearance of these new Colonial ships does not completely occupy your time. Good luck on integrating them back into the Colonial Fleet and Peoples!
Please convey my continued regards to the Ambassador upon his return, to the Quorom of the 12, and to the Colonial People as a whole.
