Salutations Admiral,

After lengthy discussions with Smuggler Patrol Commander - VANGUARD, it has been decided that I shall be allowing the non Raptor vessels to partake in helping to capture Smugglers aswell as their normal duties. So patrols of both sets of Armada squads will be seen together to bolster each other, and Commander VANGUARD will relay to the operatives of raptor Squad, the new protocol directive.

Initially we were not going to merge the squads, but it seems only fitting to do this whilst we have a situation within Pennsylvania and the Zoners who are being stubborn. I also mentioned the Zoner capital ships, which as far as I am aware have not been sighted since Vanguard and the other officers reported it.

As the Pesticide operation comes close, we are detaching Argonaute within Pennsylvania to help with the deployment of vessels and resources and will use her as a mobile command unit. Vessels will resupply and get rest aboard the Argonaute whilst patrolling within the Pennsylvania system. We will hopefully deploy Argonaute later today, to initiate the operation and will keep you informed of our progress.

I will also be requesting extra pilots who should be on leave to be on standby in case it all kicks off whilst we are doing our patrols. I will be asking more commanders to bring more ships into the area, if we have a increase in activity that may be a threat to us.

Also I am lead to believe that those Zoner capital vessels within Pennsylvania have actually refused to leave the area, so we will initiate extra patrols also to hunt them down and force them to leave, and if they don't we will be following your orders to engage the vessels.

As I undocked out of Planet Manhattan and took the trade lane to Fort Bush, I passed by an Insurgent by the name of Joe.Texas.
We had a little pow-wow, gave each other nods to how we had to operate and how there was no way I could let him go in the face of how any and everything I do is being recorded in my Defender.

Our duel soon started and after a few strafes from the both of us, I took the upper hand and got a few mines bearing down on him while dodging his telegraphed mine laying technique. A few more volleys of laser fire later and his Sabre was soon disabled, his escape pod dropped by Rochester as he had requested of me in this gentlemen's duel.

Whilst the duel was happening, a Freelancer and a Rheinland MND agent was watching by the sidelines. I inquired about the agent's reasons for being in Liberty whilst at the same time being in possession of Nomad Gunboat Remains.

Lance-2 of the Liberty Navy came by to give me support in the case where negotiations turned awry.
Both Ensign Cheel Mayers and Lieutenant Commander Aiden Pearce were witness to the event as well.

The Rheinland Agent was given a choice of dropping the Nomad Gunboat Remains he had in his cargo hold and to leave Liberty or to be spaced by Lance-2.

The Nomad materials were dropped and the Rheinland Agent was soon on his way but not without sending a few transmissions to an unknown recipient. We gave chase to the agent into the system of Texas where we once gave them the final choice to give themselves in, in light of what we witnessed. They then soon docked on Planet Texas where we lost all contact with them.

I can see you have submitted some reports for my attention, which is very flattering I must say, but cutting to the chase here Mr. Howard, I am very impressed with your layout and detail of these reports and I have passed on this to Lt.Commander Harrison for her to look over.
I would like to congatulate you on your performances, within the 1st Armada and particularly to your expertise in fight situations. This has turned some heads also within the Admiralty, and I am sure there will be a reward for this very soon.

As you very well know, I am Commander of Raptor Squad, so I have spoken to Libby and she is very interested to see your reports go to her from now on, if you would not mind, and also I will be interested in your progress aswell as a bystander.

I am glad to see you back after your short leave time, and I must say Lieutenant Aurelias Howard has impressed me very much with his performances within the Armada. I have passed on two reports for your attention, which are in your personal inbox and his detail on the reports is exemplary to say the least.

NOW .. back to my main point to the communication,

Omicron NU is now a free passage for traders and smugglers to traverse their way into Liberty, not to say they have not been using it anyway, seeing as over time we have caught people in Virginia who should not basically be there. I have had extensive talks with Admiral Van-Leer and it seems we will be moving Raptor assets to Virginia, so we can keep tabs on any smugglers who try to come through there.
One of my suggestions is to create a blockade scenario for a four day period, which will involve operatives from the main Armada and from Raptor Squad.

These assets will be staioned there, but will no in any way hamper operations within any other system they operate, and will not thin down our resources in any way. I would personally recommend Aurelias Howard to be asked to be on standby within the region, so we can use his prowess for fighting, if needed.

Alongside this blockade, after the massive assault on Planet Erie, we will also need Cpital vessel support, just in case we encounter any unusual activity within other regions through Liberty. We will need to bolster our operations and be very vigilant and professional.

Salutations Admiral,

After my short leave away, I can see that the situation in Pennsylvania has escalated beyond anything that I was expecting, with the Zoners putting up some stiff resistance and also the fact they have attacked Liberty Forces, who were trying to calm the situation before the landing on Erie, truly disgusts me.

After lengthy talks with VANGUARD, I am issueing certain assets from the Armada to bolster Raptors within Virginia, who will be based there during the next four days initiating a blockade of the system to deter any smugglers.
I will be making sure some Capital vessels will also be diverted to Omicron NU, who will patrol the system and make sure there is nothing unusual going on that would endanger Liberty.

I am very concerned about the opening up of the Supergate in Virginia to civilian vessels and it opens up also opportunities for other entities to flaunt this, and possibly enter Liberty through the backdoor so to speak.
This will put pressure slightly on our resources, but I am sure our operatives will do their best as always to keep the civilians of our Republic safe as possible.

Initiating this blockade operation that VANGUARD will be in charge of, and also myself in charge of the other forces can help us to control the situation as it stands.

These protocols will be initiated immediately after my communication to you.

Salutations Admiral,

Started my first patrol, after returning from leave and was just searching around New York and California for a while, and after re-entering New York, I greeted a trader. This trader was on his way towards Detroit Munitions, so I decided to follow him and after he departed once again he had Medical Supplies aboard his vessel. I proceeded to interogate him while flying as to the Destination, and he confirmed it as Bethlehem Station.
Also he was telling me to not approach the station as the occupants were not very happy, so I proceeded to stay close to Planet Erie, where it was quiet.

Black Box logs are included.

I am hoping the taking of Planet Erie is not going to spill over towards our opertions within Virginia and Omicron NU, seeing as Zoners will probably use this route.

Also before hand I scanned a very legal trader.

It appears these smugglers are going for rather expensive and armoured vessels now Callsign -- Anat0s -- complete with Artifacts and Cardamie on board and decided to not stop after being hailed.

This individual is obviously packing some firepower aswell so we will now be initiating our Gunboats on missions to compliment the Bombers and Fighter aircraft.

My guncam jammed trying to get evidence so basically we need to look out for this individual and make sure he does not get away again.

The individual was piloting a civilian Frigate.
