Well to be sure you will still get the lolwuts.

Overall though, I have to say the frequency of RP interaction is increased for me as a result of this concept.

Implementation still needs work, but its a great idea I think should be extended to all primary production.

Best example for one particular side for me so far? Guy sitting in a Gunboat right next to Narita Outpost and demanding 50 percent more ore than the transport had loaded.

This may sound odd from a miner, but I think more pirates is probably the answer to this problem.
I think in time pirates are going to wise up to the most lucrative trade routes and will just make it impossible to go it alone, which is good! It means making the run alone so you can greedily take full profit will be extremely risky.
I think there are good alternatives too. You can make half the profit by remaining in Liberty, as I discovered with Pueblo Station. It's a decision you need to make: Play it safe or run the risk.
For the amount of profit Narita Outpost brings to miners, that route should naturally be the riskiest. Perhaps there could even be routes that venture into the Border Worlds, with twice the profit and risk of Narita. I definitely hope this new concept doesn't get scrapped! At the moment it is very balanced, in my opinion.

You have 2 bombers as escorts and they blast him till you dock to sell the ore and pay the half to the escorts.
Look not so bad?

Wise words from Cannon once again. I wonder if those two, *cough* and *cough*, who whined, moaned, and cursed their way through skype will actually listen to you this time and leave me alone.
