It looks reasonably Hi-tec, so I'd go with Lane Hackers, GMG or the Order. I'd like BAF to get an HF... but I can't see that happening with this design.

Mah, place the skin a bit lousier, and you get a cheap-looking Xeno HF:P
Lane Hackers have Border World Ships.
And seriously, have you ever seen a Lane Hacker flying a fighter?
I know i didn't.
Not even the HF guys. I have only seen them in Liberty gunboats.
Not Sabres, Slipstreams, Crows, or whatever.
So, maybe I would agree that it could be an Order HF.
Because, let's face it, Nephtyss suck pretty much.
And they need an agile new tool to fight new Nomad fast ships (Keepers).
Or Order bomber? That could do it as well.

My ideas:
It should be HF with stats something like the Crow..it should belong to a faction... because many of then don't have their own designs and there are already many civilian ships to choose (Stinger,Viper, Virage, Crow, RT...many LFs).
If most ships are civilian or available to all, nobody would join factions...and/or fly faction specific ships.
Also faction specific ships should have slightly better stats than "free for all" ships...*points at the Crow*, off course wireframe ships should have good agility or extra armor to compensate for their vulnerability.... It is like this in 4.84.. so let's not get back to 4.83 with everyone in RT.
so:
Lane Hackers - but that might mean that outcasts start to use it which I wouldn't like to see, so Lane Hacker only HF
GMG - the design is sleek to fly in nebulas.... yet GMG should use the Stinger... so bad idea I guess...
Unioners - should get their own ship... and a good HF with low maintenance/ repair costs looks much more likely than a VHF

I was thinking of a VHF with low hull and b/b for the Unioners..
Who knows maybe we can have one in the future..

@Mjonlir - You say for the GMG that they should fly Stigers.
Why don't you say for Hackers that they should fly Sabres?
If we go with the same logic, they should.
I still think the same, Order or Xeno.
Maybe Unioners, but it doesn't go Unioner enough for me.
They should have a Rheinlandish design.

Hackers should use the Sabre as they have nothing of their own ... on the other hand.. if this one becomes a hacker HF.. don't see why outcasts should use it.
also on the Sabre it says: fruit of the border worlds.... (not developed by Outcasts.. that's why say Gaians should not use the corsair Titan)
Xeno fighter may be a good idea..... Order ships should look more sturdy I think...

@Kress... the line between a good HF and weak armored VHF is pretty narrow... look at Virage and Crow.... one is VHF and one HF... yet they are actually almost the same... I though it should be something like that

Hackers should use Sabres like they are their own.
That's not an Outcast ship, that's BWE ship. And it's very good.
And Hackers use it.
And again i say, there are no Hackers that fly Fighters.
And if there are, they are very few.

What the heck are you talking about chopper?
Did you do the SP campaign? Almost ALL Lane Hackers fly fighters!
