yeah but not it will be an balanced fight. Of course you won't see cruisers spam. That way i want an faction rank allowed ship. Like [RM] or [LN] you just can't take an cap if your rank is low

As such, Battleships in the major houses themselves are already thin.
I wouldnt agree to limiting the battleships by rank, HOWEVER, limiting battleships to official factions seems much more manageable and reasonable, rather than having a plethora of independant battleships.
Even merc factions once more will have a slight chance of getting capitals back.

This whole thread is not going to fix the whole 'situation' with caps. Devs come here, watch the topic and enter it (rarely) and just say 'meh'. I could be wrong on this part ("... just say 'meh'."), but when I see threads like these - I ask myself:
- What is the main purpose of this when nothing will change?
- Mostly beginners or freshmans are posting here and there and talking nonesense (no offence) and claiming only 'official' factions to have them while veteran players struggle themselves in the past on writing their RP Stories for their hard earn vessel.
- Threads like these are good, but in the end - it does not have an effect, flammers jump in, and etc.
EDIT: Forgot to say...
This is DISCOVERY FREELANCER ROLEPLAYING 24/7 SERVER
2 Main words on that title of the server.
First being - Discovery - go and discover and grow/advance in discovering, pvp'ing, surviving, and blah blah blah
Second being - Freelancer - Being independent and have rights to become and independent Captain of a Battleship or trader!
I am not saying to lock this thread, but people please, have common sense >___>
