I rp everyday on my nomad, just not the way of speech keepers want it. So thats why I feel we should be able to use nomad guns on morph even if the ID says its only self defence, because I have never broken the ID so far ^^ Keepers dont talk like: ***(annoyed)~mistaken -one called <person>- ... i do not harm'***, I have been critiziced on that, and while I do effort my RP, I just dont understand theyr way of speech(keepers), and neither am willign to 'learn' that way due to iam not native english, and people appreciate my rp as it is. So thats why I feel it should be said, that I do really like to use nomad guns not for pew pew, just because I can RP, and only want those just for looks. It's a good ship, don't get me wrong. I like it. Irra: Its fighter-level thrust speed is all it has going for it. Other than that, it's the most bland cruiser of Blandtown, New Meh-ico. Marduk: Outranged by EVERYTHING. You can't take on two of anything. You can't even fight a single Osiris with it. All they need to do is cruise to 4k and spam Mortars and pulse and you can't do a damn thing about it. The guns have a 1.00 refire and are so slow that you can't hit a bomber even if it's trying to get hit by flying in a straight line. Two bombers can beat a Marduk. It doesn't take four. They're the Disco veteran players exclusive country club, along with Wild, Phantoms and other invite only groups. Naturally, they get access to the most overpowered equipment and ships and excuse to shoot things without a valid reason. I avoid them and their unique form of RP like the plague. Seriously though, the point Jinx made about the Scorpion has some merit, and I remember a time when Scorps actually did use two or four Nomad turrets in conjunction with other turrets... such as the Inferno (now pulse) turret... or the Battle Razor. I think it'd save the Nomad factions a hell of a lot of pain in the future to just use four Nomad turrets on the beast and be done with it... Other than that... No. An offer was made once, provided that I be less paranoid, but the Nomads aren't for me. I like roleplaying with them from a human/Outcast's perspective. We get to use the human language as well as Nomad's form of communication. A couple of purple shooting guns on my bomber and the Singularity Cannon is all I need :) Keepers - ProwlerPC - 02-21-2011 Also, I was pretty certain Das Wilde leader is very strict on not allowing any more then 4 Nomad Turrets on the Scorp. No it wasn't 2, it was 4. I haven't heard of a change in this ruling he's maintained for a long time. Then again I don't use the Scorpion because it has nothing to do with my character so I might be mistaken but the notion is ingrained in my head for some reason. Perhaps this should be brought up in the feedback if Das Wilde is using full Nom loadouts on the Scorps. I would of requested SRP had it been that it was open. It has been closed as far as I know of without a eta to when its reopened (Talked to an angel, as well as admin about this) since I have been playing my nomad for a while.
