So?

I'm not sure but I might have been that SA officer, and I said only that carrying Bounty Hunter pilots in your hold is illegal, in my opinion they are lawful pilots and carrying any lawful pilot on ships other than Navy, LSF, LPI ID'd is considered kidnapping, i'm not exactly sure if i'm correct on this one but from what I gathered by reading the forums and all they are considered lawful pilots, therefore I think I am correct...

Then you weren't the guy.
The guy specifically said that it is forbidden to shoot BHG NPC's, not to carry them.
Though NPC's don't care about carrying BHG either, that is acceptable for PC's.
But forbidding to shoot them isn't, in my eyes.

i just wanted to point out that my Zoner tagged/ID'ed player flies a decommissioned Liberty Cruiser (which is how most civilians obtain tanks/submarines/F-16s etc, but with all military weapon hardpoints deactivated). I did RP it and this is why it does not have the Cruiser Forward Gun, since it was removed prior to decommissioning.

Of course, people have commented on Bill Mason flying it regardless, but I figure i've done a reasonable job of making up a decent enough RP as to why my arms dealer flies one. But I agree for the most part, they should be rather more restricted than they currently are, though preferably restricted by the official player factions rather than the admins themselves.

I am sorry, but I don't really understand the rules, so I want to ask something:

If my most friendly faction is Liberty Police Inc, and if I got a Liberty Police ID, so can I buy Liberty gunboat/Cruiser/ Dreadnought freely? Or need someone permission?

PS: Just asking, in fact I cannot afford those in this moment, haha.

Liberty Rules - chopper - 02-26-2008

It is a very good thing that you asked.
By the server rules, you don't need that permission.
However, if you don't ask it, you might bring SA/LSF anger upon yourself.
So, my suggestion is to ask them, or even join their ranks.

might want to add Task Force Moonshadow
my little slice of liberty will be in the omicrons most of the time, but if i see unauthorized capships out there, i will report it to SA

Do you mean that even I have the money and LPI ID card, it is danger and no good if I buy Liberty Cap ship? But I see some recruitment of Liberty Faction, they all offering only with VHF. Originally I just want to buy a Capship as my personal ship.(Just like fighters or transports) So is it allowed?

I am really a new guy in RP and many things I don't really know.

In RP, you couldn't buy a Liberty capital ship. You'd only be able to steal it or buy it from a corrupt officer. Thus, we'd be after ya:P

Well said. If you want your own personal uber-ship, you should make sure your RP is up to par, as opposed to the massive amount of cap-whores we have flying around now... best way is to join faction. You won't start with one, but when you get one you'll know how to use it well enough to not get flak for it. I highly suggest that, as the vast majority of caps shouldn't be blatantly purchasable in-RP; any faction in a war or serious tension (count 'em; I count all of them) would keep a close eye on their most powerful resources and make sure that those granted them understood their place in the hierarchy and had gained utmost trust. Personally, I don't think I will ever buy a cap with anything less than full-green with guard if not guard tag. And probably approval or membership in a PC clan. Otherwise, there's just so much that can go wrong. (AHEM, Liberty whenever more than 1 hostile shows their face anywhere. At some point I'm going to make a ruckus somewhere as a bomber and take the time to can every indie cap that comes out to fight me.)

Just my .02$
