A FEW NEW BUGS I FOUND :)

it concerns the Large Train:

it looks like if it's heavily damaged somehow (entering athmosphere, minefields, there it happened 2 me) I've noticed this when nearly took a dive into Toledo, whe you repair it, it doesn't put back the cargo pods (I miss 3 now I think) I have also noticed that Hoodlum's train is missing two and someone told me I was missing one (it was the middle-bottom one) and after the near-dive into Toledo I miss 2 in the back (also, the repair icon when docked is always there, when I go to repair there's nothing to repair).
also, a problem with it's .sur (i think) is that it doesn't get hit by missiles (no damage always, needs to be hit close around the cockpit/engine area [front 1/4 of the ship] to take damage, the shields also)

Ah, a bug i found and forgot to mention:
For some reason, the BS's have problems targeting ships at the rated distance of the weapons.
For example, when i fire the infernos at wolf, which are supposed to have a range of 1k, i had to be very close in order for the weapons to target him. In fact, VERY close, means almost colliding with him. Arround 100m. If i go any further than that, the turrets wont target his ship.
And not only the infernos. All BS turrets have that problem.

I recomend increasing the range of certain BS energy weapons to arround 1.7 - 2k. By certain i mean, infernos, cerberus, and all those weps designed to be specifically anti-BS.
Hmm... Im unsure about the ones that can target a fighter. Because a fighter wont stand chance to get close enough to fire.... On the othe side, hitting a fighetr at 2k is very hard due to the shoot speed. It takes ~3 seconds to an energy bolt to reach the fighter. That gives him plenty of time to evade it.

Talon's ship info card has a mention of it having a turret mount. I must be blind or else it's missing. And that was the reason I bought Talon and not Raven Claw :G

Oh, and is Raven Claw supposed to have that dual thrust, or was it going to get removed? As for myself, I'd like to see more ships with dual thrusters - preferably some light fighters, though. It would make a nice hit-and-run fighter ;)

Ravenclaw will have one of the thrusters removed as it makes it unbalanced. Though I'll miss the duals in more than just fights. When you don't have time to fight BHs you thrust engine kill and glide away... Well now it'll glide away no more...

You still can glide away... just do that and turn 180 pointing your ship to the pursuers while escaping. they will reduce speed drastically. Kind of stupid, but it is a glitch (one of maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

I know, but doing the same thing with the 320 speed of dual thrusters makes it much more simple...

Well, yes, the duals do make it a lot "better" - and in some sense unbalanced. But on the other hand it's a kinda hard to believe that all the ships would have the same thrust / max speed. I mean, no matter what the ship looks like or how much it weighs, they all go as fast (yes, I know looks don't matter that much in space).

Maybe it's a good thing to get the duals removed from Raven Claw, since it's kinda powerful otherwise and can probably handle most situations anyway. But I'd like to see some weaker ships with lots of thrust. Perhaps some smugglers' ships or so... (I know they used to put airplane engines on boats, during the prohibition law, in the Gulf of Finland to outrun the cops).

So, in a nutshell: WANTS MORE SPEED, LESS SHIELDS / ARMOUR / FIREPOWER!

Thats one of the many errors of the Freelancer Universe. But it is intentional. If not, The SP would be too hard for some people to handle.

Well, lighter ships should be faster... That would compensate for the lower armor/firepower. Light fighters could use a thrust speed of 270, heavy fighters 230 and VHF/Bomber 200. And so on with bigger ships...
