Just saw the updated model from whenever you completely changed the way it looked, and now it doesn't look like a gunboat at all. :|
Despite what Discovery has done to the class (Tridente, Hacker GS), gunboats are crewed by more than two people. Just look at all of the vanilla ones.
This looks like a fat bomber.
I agreed with replacing the Hacker GS with your other model, that was cool, but this just looks... Meh.
It's literally just an oversized Roc, so it would maybe fit as a small Gunship, but certainly not a gunboat.

Not too sure about the model myself. The wings seem misplaced on a gunboat sized vessel. Not to mention the fact that they make it way easier to hit. Gunboats, because of their increased size, should have minimal appendages I think.

trident looks different enough to still look like a new ship that fits with the ship line as a gunboat.
this looks like a scaled up eagle with a smaller cockpit and a different texture.
imo id lose the wings, and give it something on the sides of the main body that give it some bulk like a bird with its wings tucked in, perhaps resembling a bird in a steep dive, then you still get the civi shipline look of the fuselage with a difference for the rest.

The CTE line is supposed to have big wings, it's the large target area that offsets the higher maneuverability. You cant have all ships with max everything, something has to be weak. On the eagle/roc lineup its the wing span.
I think the wings could be filled out a bit (another thruster or something), and the tips could be deleted to tighten up the target area some. The CTE line is engine-in-the-tail design but moving them to the wings would give the necessary visual cue that this is not a roc.
Like to see them side-by-side. The size will probably be enough.

Like the new nose and cockpit.
Otherwise, looks like a roc with weight problems.
Maybe add or take one or two little things away.
But as it is right now, I don't mind.
