It appears the Liberty forces have effectively botched up their patrol schedules which means that during their coffe breaks, control of New York reverts to to gun-toting psychopaths who have little or no regard for human life. The route from Manhattan to California is a place where they tend to concentrate.
Feral is recovering from an attack in Liberty earlier today that occurred on this very route. However his report has found serious flaws in the Sea Serpent's strafing and turning ability.
Effective immediately:
1. Cease utilising the trade lanes on the Manhattan - California JG route. Use the Jump-holes. Do not let the authorities know that you are aware of their location.
2. Do not patrol or engage an enemy without a wingman.
3. All Sea Serpents are to be withdrawn from service. Hammerhead replacements are ready.
A large action to counter this nuisance is being drawn up.

An engagement took place today in California between myself, S/D-Menthe, and Bill.SanAntonio

The fight started off well enough, Menthe had been made indisposed of by another Pirate Onyx.Wolffe who eventually fled the scene.

Menthe, rejoining the battle, made things much easier. Bill's shield batteries and nanobot supply were running low. At one point in the battle, some trader escorts ((NPCs)) decided to join the fight against the Outcast. However, the pilots were unskilled and rather stupid. Upon coming in between my line of fire and the enemy, my shots ripped down his shields and him and his allies became hostile. Targeting me, now, in stead of the outcast. Their weapons did little against my shields so I ignored them and continued the fight. It wasn't long, however, before a group of Liberty Navy (one cruiser, two gunboats, and a wing of Guardians) showed up. I was quite glad to see law enforcement join the fight, my elation was swiftly lost, however, when I found that the trader's escort (who had so stupidly flown into my fire) informed the Navy of my 'treachery'. The Navy then decided to ignore the Outcast threat and focus on the 'traitor'... Me.
It was not long until the navy's weapons had ripped through my shields, depleted my supply of bots and bats, and destroyed my newly acquired (and still under-equipped [no shields, no armor upgrades]) hammerhead.
Something needs to be done about these overzealous and ignorant novice escort fighters in Starfliers that zip in and out of Sirius space turning my allies against me for -their- mistakes.

While on patrol in the California system S/D-Anke and myself ran across 2 known pirates operating in the system. Onyx.wolfe and bill.SanAntonio. I chased after Wolfe who quickly disengaged and returned to find Anke taking on SanAntonio. After a few moments of fighting the over zealous liberty navy pilots got involved and a massive furball ensued.
Allow me to take the liberty at this time in complimenting AP on the creation of the Hammerhead. This ship handles beautifully.
Anke was knocked out of the fight and as another outcast pilot nomad appeared and entered the fray. Navy operative Vape12 whom myself and anke have helped on patrol in the past came to my aid but we were still outgunned and vape12 was quickly dealt with.
it was with the help of another navy pilot Sirius that we finally managed to chase off all the outcast pilots sending them packing back into a nearby asteroid field.
I returned to houston to rearm, repair and escape the over zealous navy pilots.
