There are only a hand full of clans wich are actlually realy active and privide exelent RP.I will not say there names , I don't wanna get flamed for doing so. Some people don't like receiving direct orders , or sticking to stupid begginers ships and having there fait decided by someone else. No clan deserves my time and attention , not after what I expirienced recently. I and many others feel very comfortable making our own stories , rather then helping yours or anyone elses.

Half-heartedly /signed Good points, but perhaps a little less flame. I have to agree with the fact that some clans that are official don't have good RP, I know I'm not a god of RP, but these clans could do better.

Kudos to a [QCO] guy that used the word Jove in his RP.:)

Weapon and ship imbalances, on the other hand, CAN be changed here. I'm hoping to see semi-equivalent versions of the supernova cannon and others added to many of the major factions in the next version of discovery. Fair points, and I also hope to see the Supernova equivalents. But until then, incessant complaining isn't gonna do anything, is it?

After all, if bombers - the only counter to capital ships other than other capital ships - are constantly underequipped for RP reasons, who's going to shoot down the hordes of indepentent pvp-whore capships?

Unless of course pvp-whoring isn't as big a problem as some people seem to think...

The ships catch fire (externally!) a while before they explode, though; roughly 10% hull, I believe. If the ship ruptured enough for the fire to get out, wouldn't you be likely to be dead very quickly due to the oxygen escaping?

Of course, that's really a rather meaningless detail, isn't it? (and sorry for bringing it up, I figured that specific point would be glossed over instead of replied to in detail)

what one realizes after reading that threat is that i am very happy that i appear to be one of the few people that still have immense fun just playing on that server:). - its as much fun as it was when i started ( maybe more, cause when i started i was mostly confused )

i don t write too many stories ( in fact not a single one really except for a brief bio of jinx / clover ) - but its fun to read other peoples stories, - i never read them as "justifications" though. they are stories - stories are there to be read and understand a character. i can live without the stories, but its more fun to live with them.

I'm in the process of writing a story right now, as an application to das wilde...

Been putting a lot of time and thought into it, but it's causing me to spend more time writing and on the forums than i spend in game now >.<

It's fun to write stories though, it actually is. That's why I'm in game as we type; do both at once, it's really challenging and you can have twice the amount of fun you usually do.:laugh:

But seriously, it's quite a nice challenge to multi-task.

maybe, but when your current main character is a very much hated pirate in the middle of liberty, multitasking can be lethal =)
