Why do I get that privilege? To be vague, my ID says I can literally murder anyone, anywhere, for no reason at all, because I'm an alien that wants to murder humans.

Well in your case, no. It's basically insurance for me that, if I can't type out my long ass line full of ** .. ~ ~ etc, I can punish you for trying to run and ignore the ALIEN THAT MURDERS HUMANS.

Clear enough by the fact that Saronsen killed my friend and right after logged out. PvPwhores all around? Got nothing against that, but when you pick on someone who clearly can't fight back (like cammon, LF with 4 guns, no mines and no armor? Gemme a break), you deserve to be picked on. I always wondered why people do that to K'hara| ships, guess now I know the answer.
EDIT: So, when my Human tries to murder the aliens on the spot it'll be all cool too? Right?

Yes. Always drop out of roleplay lines on a roleplay server, that's the way to go!
I like to minimize the amount of out of roleplay nonsense I spit out. It's much more immersive an experience when you don't have tons of // all over your screen. It also feels less "fake" to have an encounter automatically "turn into roleplay" rather than have to ask for it.
Your friend wasn't picked on. Your friend simply kept running, and thereby forced the Nomad to take action, even if they would have preferred getting some back-and-forth "speech" rather than gunfire.
If you CD my Nomad on an Order ship and I just keep trying to cruise away, you can shoot me - even without saying a word. How's that for a deal?
You could of course take your out of roleplay hatred and put it ingame, and hunt Nomads with all kinds of weird combinations of ships. Like a Jorm that you have standing by just to pop an Irra, as you said.
That will surely make this server more fun for everyone involved.
Give me a break.

Order fighter in Omicrons gets caught by a Nomad fighter, Order fighter attempts to escape - doesn't succeed and gets blown off by a Nomad fighter. Where is the issue?

He doesn't have forum account, he used to play the vanilla freelancer and wanted to pick on from playing an order character. I've let him create a new character on my computer. He's not mad or anything, he simply said he doesn't wish to play if that's how things are around. That you play for 10 minutes and someone kills you.
It's me simply being a sadpanda that now my friend (and trust me, it took me quite the long while to convince him to try the game out) doesn't wish to play with me at Disco's server.
And as I said Yuri, I never got why people did that to Nomads (as in "lol engabugage"), but if that's how you treat a clearly new person on the game (and to PM someone one line with "//" for sake of a good RP encounter, I doubt would kill anyone), what's the wonder?
EDIT: Guess it's a bit my fault for letting him play when I am going to fetch us some food, rather than stick around and watch over him.

What's stopping you from grasping the concept that this Nomad would have more than happily "spoken" to your friend and poked and prodded their mind with visions and weird speech had they simply stopped?
In terms of out of roleplay motivation, your friend was shot because they didn't stop. In roleplay, every Onuris that explodes is a victory for the Nomads.
Twenty or more cruise disruptors are more than a subtle hint to stop, wouldn't you agree?

Panny, you said it yourself, he's not mad, then perhaps come to think that may be, just may be, this game isn't what your friend finds to his liking. That's simply it. We aren't wishmakers and we can't play around what others think to themselves and what they expect to themselves. Accept the fact the game isn't for everyone, it's a niche community with a rather specific mindset, a mod with a specific gameplay style. How would I even know if this is a "new person on the game"? It doesn't say anywhere in the name. There is no wonder in what or how things are. Like em or not, I've been playing here for what... six years. People who had been there long enough got used to what things are, accepted them for what they are, there is no way around it, simple as.
Perhaps indeed you should have watched over your friend, lended him a helping hand and guide through the trenches of this game world. Instead you dropped into into Omicrons and into Order character straight away. If the person isn't particularly fond of PvP why drop him into hostile area of space? Why not get through places safer first?
