One Police Plaza (iRP) (FO) - bryan.tomas - 05-25-2010 ![]() Transmitted by: Recruit Officer Bryan Tomas Date:25-05-818 REPORT STARTS Encountered Tarik-[T], the smuggler reported by RO Mark Lynwood yesterday. As per Hyperion's allegation, Tarik was indeed carrying artifacts. He claimed that he picked them up from a smuggler and was trying to drop them off to a Liberty Navy or Police officer. I advised him that while this was admirable, it was still illegal to carry artifacts, and that I would waive the fine, should he drop the artifacts to be destroyed. He complied and was allowed to leave. Reccomend that if this pilot is caught again with artifacts the fine should be administered. One Police Plaza (iRP) (FO) - Stygian - 05-28-2010 ![]() Report filed by: Sergeant Aiden Maggard Date: 05-28-818 I started my patrol from Fort Bush. On my way to Manhattan, I ran into a group of Hackers and Rogues fighting a couple of Navy Officers. The hostiles callsigns were Haydut-Claret.Red(Werewolf), Nietzsche's.Ghost(Sabre), and Dreadful(Hacker Gunship). The werewolf was destroyed first by his own mines. We then switched to the gunship and took it down as well. We let Hood finish off the Sabre. Guncam Footage ![]() ![]()
One Police Plaza (iRP) (FO) - Oldum - 05-30-2010 ![]() Date: 29.05.818 Patrol Report I took off from Manhattan, and began my flight around New York. I didn't find much on the lanes so I moved on to Pennsylvania. Coast was clear over there aswell, so I returned to New York and continued my patrol there towards Norfolk Shipyard. Went past Ft. Bush, but still nothing. Just as I was heading back to Manhattan, my trade lane was disrupted, and I found myself looking at an Outcast Sabre callsigned " " and a Rogue gunboat , " " . I was aware that my Liberator is useless agains the two of them, however a mercenary flying a Kusari Explorer , " " was there and offered it's help. Having spme backup, I've asked the pirate ships to leave the area. At first, they didn't care to reply, but upon the arrival of a Bounty Hunter gunboat , the "BHG| " they seemed quite cooperative. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() One Police Plaza (iRP) (FO) - akka1000 - 05-30-2010 ![]() Sergeant Amy McTavish I took the Quantico out for a spin today. I met up with Officer Martin Lee outside West Point, where we found an outcast Trident almost immediately. He refused to drop the LPI and Navy pilots he had captured so we presued him to the edge of the big scary black cloud. We were forced to engage to try and rescue the pilots. Officer Lee fell early to the tridents guns, and after I picked up his pod, I continued the fight. Sadly the Trident fled further into the scary place, and got away. We took Martin back to base for a new ship. My name's Marcel Lee though. I'd neglected to load shield batteries and nanobots after my previous patrol, which quickly led to the destruction of my ship. For that, I sincerely apologize for the destruction of LPI property. END OF REPORT One Police Plaza (iRP) (FO) - jimhunter - 05-31-2010 Name: Lisa Hunter Rank: Officer / SWAT-Officer Report: 27 Greetings. I'm here to report my latest victorious fight against the pirat forces within Liberty. Today, my victim was an Outcast Switchblade Heavy Fighter. The duel has been hard and long, but in the end I won due to my Magma Hammers on my Liberator. Before I could start to fight against him, the Outcast was able to take out another Liberator, as the Sergeant piloting it wanted to fight alone. That is all.
One Police Plaza (iRP) (FO) - Stygian - 06-02-2010 ![]() Report filed by: Sergeant Aiden Maggard Date: 06-02-818 Started my patrol from Ft. Bush. I no more than undocked when I got a distress call from the Navy in Texas. They were fighting a large group of Rheinland fighters. The enemy took out several Navy fighters and we were quickly overwhelmed. I also have evidence of two Mercs fighting with the Rheinland forces. Bitter.Blunt and Simon.Garret. I suggest they be added to the hostiles list immediately. ![]() ![]() ![]()
One Police Plaza (iRP) (FO) - Error - 06-03-2010 ![]() Sender ID: Officer Colin Sinclair Time: 01:34 SMT+1 - 3/06/818 Subject: Period Report Location: McNeil Island, Illinois I haven't been on patrol for a while, and I'd like to quickly explain why: I've been doing "housecleaning" assignments and missions around Liberty for the last half a month or so. The results? this and this. I've done 40 or so assignments and taken down various Xeno, Lane Hacker and Rogue key persons and installations/outposts. I'd also like to amend a shot note to Lisa Hunter's report, as I also got my Executioner taken down by the same person earlier near Norfolk Shipyard.
One Police Plaza (iRP) (FO) - Senshi - 06-04-2010 ![]() Comm ID: Recruit Officer Cho Sprinks Subject: Patrol Report Date: 04.06.818 13:00-14:00 SMT Location: New York System After Action Report: At 13:05 SMT I finished outfitting my brand new Liberator in Illinois and asked via S5yp3 if someone was interested to join a patrol. Officer J. Smith was already on patrol and Sergeant A. Maggard decided to join soon. After joining communications with Smith he immediately called for support as he was facing a pirate and an outcast at the tradelane near Manhattan and West Point (please refer to his report HERE [EDIT: Once he gets to post it...]). When I arrived at 13:09, the issue had already been solved, and after cleaning up we headed back to Planet Manhattan where Maggard was already waiting for us. We grouped up, I got officially introduced to the force and received some last advice on my choice of Debilitators. At 13:12 we started patrolling the NY tradelanes. Manhattan -> Westpoint -> California JG -> Westpoint -> Pennsylvania When arriving at Pennsylvania Jump Gate in the Badlands at 13:22, we encountered a small-time pirate, Ethan_Mars, who was disabling the lane and interrupting trade traffic. He did not respond to contact efforts and instead fled through the Trade lane, mine-disabling it behind him. Nevertheless we managed to close up to him and found him at West Point again, where he was already been dealt with by the stations' defense system and local fighter patrols. He continued to flee along the Manhattan Lane where he dropped off into the Detroit Debris Field, heavily damaged. We decided to not press pursuit for this obviously harmless "pirate" and returned to Manhattan at 13:25, where we refitted our vessels and were about to continue patrol. Later we received a message from local patrols that Ethan Mars has been successfully interdicted and taken down. At 13:28 we received an emergency call from Anthony Fox of the LMC between Fort Bush and Manhattan. We immediately moved out and not even a minute later we saw the problem. A Lane Hacker gunboat named "Dreadful", armed to the teeth and an visually apparent high-quality-armor, accompanied by a Rogue in a Werewolf class VHF "Who.The.Cluck.Is.Alice?". Mr. Fox was glad for our support and Sergeant Maggard continued negotiations with the Hacker. However, the only crime we could nail them on was disrupting trade by disrupting the trade lane, nothing else, despite the fact of them being in space forbidden to them. We tried all methods to persuade them to leave the system, but it became soon apparent that they had no intention to follow our orders. After more than 10 minutes of negotiation, an Outcast "Tridente" Gunboat labeled "TSK - The.Shadow" joined them, what immediately caused them to become more aggressive, feeling confident. Sadly, their confidence was correct at the time and we decided to withdraw to Fort Bush for redeployment while simultaneously calling for SWAT assistance via S5yp3, which immediately was responded to. After mere 6 minutes N. Radcyffe of the Grizzly SWAT and the fine Gunboat LPI-Quantico joined us, this is where we decided to move out again to face the pirates before they decided to disappear. Only two minutes later Maggard rejoined us after he exchanged his Liberator with a more powerful SWAT vessel. Also by chance a lone Bounty Hunter (22nd-Kapow) arrived who offered his assistance. Now chances shifted clearly, and the Hacker Gunboat Dreadful captain was smart enough to recognize that. He tried to order his "colleagues" to leave the area with him, but apparently he chose the wrong friends. During the three minutes of the new conversation, the Tridente Shadow was getting trigger-happy, discharging the shields of SWAT officer Radcyffe multiple times. Despite multiple warnings from ourselves and even pleas from the Dreadful he again opened fire. We gave him a final ultimatum to cease fire and be escorted out of the system, but he didn't want to learn. At 13:53 he cowardly attacked Radcyffe again, immediately vaporizing him after he previously surrendered over comms. The Hacker and the Rogue decided to help their ally, despite his previous act of cowardice. At 13:58 the Tridente gunship was no more. New priority target was the Hacker gunship. At 14:02 the captain of the Dreadful asked for a ceasefire, which we gratefully granted. He had some difficulties restraining his Werewolf lackey, but managed it in the end, so negotiations could start again at 14:03. The rogue cowardly used the confusion and the beginning of the negotiations to flee into the Debris field. Pursuit had to be aborted when CDs didn't hit target and/or were countered. Sgt. Maggard demanded the usual terms of surrender of the Hacker, who obviously wasn't very fond of the idea to have to abandon ship near Station Huntsville. At 14:12 he shot a captured LPI officer whose lifepod he had in cargo, threatening to kill the other five on board too, even after being educated that we can't do hostage negotiations and executing him would result in his ship being annihilated. At 14:14 the "Dreadful" was no more. We managed to extract 5 intact lifepods with LPI officers, together with multiple Bounty Hunter and civilian pilots. Apparently he had no time to terminate his prisoners and gladly the lifepods are very sturdy. At 14:16 we returned to Fort Bush to refit our vessels and unload the hostages and injured ones. Total results: -=Destroyed=- 1x Gunship, Lane Hacker 1x Gunship, Outcasts -=Damaged, but escaped=- 1x VHF, Rogues -=Losses=- SWAT member Radcyffe's Grizzly. We managed to retrieve Radcyffe almost unharmed. Personal Remarks: Regarding the Liberator: I was surprised by the high quality of the Liberator vessel. Being unremarkable from its looks, it offers an unmatched agility, but still able to withhold the occasional hit. Most rounds never come near it. Of course this was substituted by our oversized enemies that had poor anti-fighter-weaponry, but during all encounters I only got my shield drained to 20% once. Maximum. Never more. An astonishing feat. Hit and run works perfectly, and in combination with the "big guns" of our gunship and the SWAT bomber we could harass the enemy harshly. Officer Smith and me mainly worked on breaking the shield and drawing fire which was immediately exploited by SWAT to put a hull breaker in. Even their fighter support, the "Werewolf" was nothing more than a mild nuisance, being completely unable to keep up with our nimbleness. Regarding my colleagues: Cooperation worked pretty much flawlessly, not many words were needed during combat. Haggard designated the current target, we attacked. Everyone knew how to use his equipment perfectly and this collaboration made it an easy win. Only the gunboat Quantico took more than a scratch to the hull, but well, it's designed to pack and take a punch. Overall, a very enjoyable experience, definitely different from most Secondary Fleet experiences. Yet today, I was able to not only engage the squiddy, but come out on top. This nasty jelly's space vehicle was named Keepers.Quingo*. When I began my patrol, I spotted it pitched in battle with a gentleman named John.Shepherd, a Navy Guard Pilot, if I'm not mistaken. I backed off a bit and let them go one on one...I mean, I know how these navy boys are about their kills. Very obsessive. I actually thought that Mr. Shepherd would prevail in the fight, but alas, his ship was destroyed by the awesome might of the Nomad. After Mr. Shepherd went down, I immediately engaged the Nomad. I soon discovered that I was in the wrong ship, a bomber. That Jelly was dancing all around me. I began evasive maneuvers and managed to dodge some of its fire, but it was beginning to wear me out. Two other ships assisted me: an Agent named Michael.King and Telluric, but the Nomad's fire was going straight toward my slow Roc bomber. I fired off nukes, I deployed SNACS, I did everything I could think of it to get it off my arse. Finally, I had enough of that ship's agilitly. As it danced all around me, I waited till it got behind me, reverse thrusted and presto. That Squid was right in front of me. A quick trigger sent my SNAC busting through all it's shields and leaving it's hull within a hair of rupturing. That hit must have crippled the ship something terrible, cause seconds later Telluric finished it off for the kill. That Nomad got sent to Nomad Heaven in a ball of fire.
