Sirius Coalition Communications Centre - bluntpencil2001 - 04-17-2009 To: SCRA Comm. ID: Captain J. Richthofen --- Ongoing tests on the Typhoon class destroyer are proving it to be very adept at handling hostile battleships. A running battle with an HAF Osiris left it a smoking hulk, after pursuit across three systems. Unfortunately, we lost two fighters and a bomber seconds before it was destroyed, partially due to carelessness of the pilots, partially due to a lack of familiarity with new armaments. Captain Baranov should be commended for his leadership skill, as should Captain Karchov, in spite of his mistakes involving ordnance. Lt. Commander Guang Jie showed competence today too. Everyone else will likely learn from the experience. -Richthofen out Sirius Coalition Communications Centre - Othman - 04-17-2009 To: SCRA Comm ID: Captain Baranov Subject Log: Engagement with intruders in Coalition space; 18/04 Thermal cams spotted two fools trying to breach the Omega-52 today. An eagle and a civilian bomber with the identification of 'AC' were recognized putting up resistance against the boarding squad. Both identified signatures were reported to be affliated with Zoners. We lost Abdul's fighter in the action due to something I don't know. The blast of a torpedo perhaps.. Anyway, their bomber torpedoed his own wing mate as well after hassling with me for a short while, leaving him hopeless for the last 10 minutes that he spent to flee on thrust under my and Katya's guns in order to crash land at Freeport 5 with the remaining spare parts from his hull scattering out in void. -Baranov out Sirius Coalition Communications Centre - Bjorn - 04-22-2009 Incoming transmission... CommId: Captain Bjorn Thorvaldsson Location: Vogtland base To: SCRA command Subject: Rheinland raid Good day comrades, I am bringing you good news today, but lets start from the begining. Today small assault group made of cpt Richtofen aboard CPW Genghis Khan, cpt Baranov, Myself, lt cmd Jie, lt Bethune, sub lt Thacker and sub lt Quirm. Our mission was hit and run on system of New Berlin. While regrouping at Vogtland we were joined by RHA rekrut Bjorn Kleiner. Our first swoops around lanes showed little signs of activity, but cost our wing some serious damage from police patrols. Jie's bomber suffered engine malfunction and Thancker was sent to escort him back to O52. Kleiner was also recalled for Hessian attack on Gamma. Leaving us four to stalk the Rheinland further. Soon tho, Military response force was scrambled up. After some epic bickering between our cpt. Richtofen and his former comrade "cmdr" Dieter Schprokets of RM battle was soon joined. On their side there were vadm Schprokets, fw Katherine Guntram, hg Hans Klemmer and fl Jan Fuchs. They were supported by freelancer Austin Goodmen Rheinlanders went straight for Genghis, torpedoing it into submission and forcing hull breach. Some additional damage was unluckly dealt by friendly fire, disabling bridge command. With Genghis down, and after some overconfident words from Rheinland admiral, we promplty shoot admiral down, my torpedo taking the last hull pannels apart. With odds more in our favor we continued fight, and soon Baranov gunned down Klemmer. Fight continued on, and soon unexpected reinforcemets arrived. RHA gunboat Ostwald, Bundschuh bomber Grigory, and on our greatest suprise comrade Vasily Prutko. RM managed to down Grigory, but soon Fuchs was gunned down by combined arms, Prutko took out Goodmen and finally Guntram was hit by cannonball missile. We went back to ressuply at Vogtland, but with Rheinland Major Gauss on our tail. While Baranov, Prutko and Ostwald held him back, Quirm and myself ressuplied on Vogtland and went back to help them dispatch bothersome pilot. In end he was gunned down by Ostwald. Saying our farewells to Hessians we went back to O52 to celebrate this big victory half towing Genghis hulk with us. This was indeed great day of great deeds. With that note, Thorvaldsson out. End of transmission. Sirius Coalition Communications Centre - Othman - 04-25-2009 To: SCRA Comm ID: Captain Baranov Subject Log: Engagement with KNF in Omega-50; 25/04 A Naval Forces Cruiser was intercepted in Omega-50 after being spotted during attempting to infiltrate the Coalition space. As we set course with Lt Cmdr. Muhadrem, the captain of the cruiser in charge refused to power down his engines but tried to make a run for it instead, which dearly cost him and his crew the remaining scraps of Yoji Nakamura. What exactly urged those Kusarians to deploy a cruiser so far from their home territory and arrogantly sail through Coalition space should be disclosed as soon as possible once the interrogation of the personnel in custody is completed. Recorded Logs.. Interception. Intervention. Destruction of Yoji Nakamura. Capture of the life pods. -Baranov out Sirius Coalition Communications Centre - bluntpencil2001 - 05-05-2009 To: SCRA Comm. ID: Kapitan Jan Ricthofen Subject: Rheinland Theatre Chain of Command ---Communications Opened--- This missive, approved of by higher authorities (see: Chain of Command Document #132, signed by Admiral Dieter Zehn), is to inform all operational units that for purposes of actions in the Rheinland Theatre, where our Revolution has the potential to make sweeping advances, overall command has been granted to myself. For foreign relations related reasons, I shall not be promoted, but shall be acting up as Commodore of our forces based from allied bases, acting as advisors and auxiliary support to partisan elements active within my homeland. I shall be expecting increased activity in the region, conducted in a most professional manner, primarily focusing on the Omegas and Dresden areas. That is all. -Richthofen out. ---Communications Closed--- Sirius Coalition Communications Centre - Lanakov - 05-06-2009 TRANSMISSION FROM ZVEDZNY GORODOK ID : LIEUTENANT NITCHIEV LANAKOV Zdrastvuitie comrades ! A revolution is usually composed of both large and small battles.Today, that's a small victory I announce you,but a victory nonetheless ! Reading reports about a corsair gunboat-class vessel wandering into Omega 5, I was granted the permission by comrade captain Richtofen to go there and pay it a visit.Comrade Vaschenko asked to come,in order to assist in case I got into trouble. I went ahead into Omega 5,and quickly found the gunboat, named as "Rowly". Explaining him how fed up we were with the presence of man-eating barbarians so close to our patriotic gates,I announced my intention to put him out of order and we started to roll,at the edge of the Hammen Hole,Cadiz side. I was immediately surprised by the capabilities of this new gunboat, which I found more dangerous than the "lunchboxes" we were used to fight.I was caught guard off and he had the upper hand during the first part of the fight. Then, comrade Vaschenko finally showed up,confirming she would watch and interfere only if asked to. Hearing these words revived the patriotic fire inside me. I observed my opponent's tactics and mistakes, and managed to drain his shields several times, denting his hull with some mines,to a point where he had no batteries left. Unfortunately,I was already out of nanobots and batteries too,and it was too late to effectively turn the tables. I kept on fighting, preventing comrade Vaschenko from joining, until my left engine started to burn. Ashamed,I called comrade Vaschenko for help. Her arrival was spectacular. She hit the gunboat with everything she had, seriously damaging it. While she prepared for her second pass,I fired a SN projectile to it's freshly regenerated shields, and two seconds after that shot,I heard the typical sound of a gunboat going into pieces. Comrade Vaschenko, perfectly coordinated on me,had landed the final shot right after I removed the target's shields. We made our way home, and as I was try to extinguish the fire,I heard comrade Vaschenko's loudly showing our joy,an exercise in which I quickly took part in. I owe her a lot for saving me today.Victory has been achieved thanks to her. This battle is the proof that our legendary coordination can lead us to victory in even the most desperate situations. For the Revolution ! For the People ! Lanakov out. Sirius Coalition Communications Centre - bluntpencil2001 - 05-09-2009 To: SCRA Comm. ID: Commodore Stanislaw Rokossowsky --- You all will have heard the grave news about Captain Richthofen, who gave his life to save his crew, in the defence of the people of Rheinland from terrorist threat. In the light of this painful revelation, I must say that I am very proud that High Command has allowed me, upon my promotion to Commodore, to no longer serve in Omega 52's defence fleet, in order to serve as the commanding officer of the newly named CPW-Jan.Richtofen, acting as our envoy to revolutionary groups in Rheinland. I would appreciate it if you all took a moment to remember the good Captain, and the others that fell aboard the CPW-Genghis.Khan. Thank you, that is all, Commodore Rokossowsky. Sirius Coalition Communications Centre - Dieter Schprokets - 05-09-2009 A lone Wraith entered Omega 52. The pilot was still mostly flesh and blood, but was held together by various artificial components and about a million nanobots, doing the things that organs used to do. He avoided the fire from the weapons platforms, and flew above plane to avoid more fire. A Coalition Insurgent class fighter approached him, and challenged him. The answer he received was not polite. "You insolent whelp. Do not make me kill you. That's not why I am here, though it would hardly delay my purpose." "I was flying with Jan Richtofen when you were a babe on your mother's knee. THAT is why I'm here. Take this." The Wraith released a small package. The Coalition pilot said nothing, but scanned the package, wary of tracking it in. "It's a bottle of the finest Rheinland Schnapps. Pour it on his grave. Jan would appreciate that." The Wraith turned and made course back to the jump hole. "Courtesy of Viz Admiral Dieter Schprokets. To an old friend, and an honourable enemy. Died defending Rheinland from Mon'star." "Seems he came home after all." Sirius Coalition Communications Centre - Koolmo - 05-12-2009 Transmission to: SCRA Command Comm ID: Captain Totenkopt, Recon Squadron CO Omicron 80 System Comrades, I have completed a partial reconassance of the avaliable areas of the house known as "Gallia". Comrade Captain Baranov aboard the CPW Nusret and myself aboard the CPW Death's Head moved up through Orkney into Gallia, and made contact with a local, seemingly of a group known as the 'Maquis". We then travelled to Burgundy, where an extremely serious Ion Storm forced us to separate. I don't know Captain Baranov's location at this time, but the man is extremely resourcefull, and I have no doubt he'll be back alive. After the Ion Storm passed, I carried on, breaching the minefield into Omicron 80 several hours later. I am currently at that location, passing this report. In my travels through 'Gallia', I have made several important observations, and by speaking with the local inhabitants and interrogating several prisoners before their disposal, have learned much of the local groups and militaries. Here is a brief rundown. Personal Log Entry 09-5-8B Wrote:Gallic Royal Navy Throught 'Gallia', the militarization is incredible. Every station bristles with weapons, every planet is fortified, and every inch of space is filled with fighting patrols and battlegroups of every stripe. Staying directly off the radar seems to be the best option for survival, and the use of jumpgates is right out. Nearly every jumpgate is fortified, and about half of them have either a GRN or Council battleship stationed next to it. I advise that fighters travel in groups of three or more, gunships in pairs, and capital ships with escorts. Flying through that area is like being back in the Nomad Wars, except good and evil both have an accent. Totenkopt, out. Transmission Ended Sirius Coalition Communications Centre - Koolmo - 05-12-2009 Transmission to: SCRA Command Comm ID: Captain Totenkopt Addition to previous report... While passing through Outcast space, I have discovered that the Unione Corse are in leage with the Outcast's drug lords, smuggling cardamine and other contraband through the Omicron-80 Hole into Gallia. I attempted to engage one Corse Bomber, who fled into Omicron Alpha, and called down a massive swarm of Sabres on me. I managed to escape into the taus with no substantial damage, where I was set upon by a heavily armoured Outcast Gunboat. I managed to evade him with the unwitting aid of a few bounty hunters, and passed into Tau-23. Immediatly beside the hole was a Colonial, by the name of Vulture. I exchanged greetings, and was about to pass about my way when a Falcatta class Outcast Bomber arrived. Both myself and the colonial engaged, and were pressing him well when the same gunboat from before arrived, guns blazing. As quickly as he entered the fight, I dispatched his friend with a well timed burst right up his engine nacelles, and turned to the larger foe. With the enthusiastic (if rudimentary) aid of Vulture's bomber, he was hounded across the system and destroyed. I have passed on the thanks of the Coaliton to this pilot, and he has the same for me of the Colonials. I shall carry on south. Totenkopt, out. Transmission Ended |
