Armor and Cargo limit - Eugen - 06-16-2013
It is probably a nood question, but is it allowed to use a ship that has more cargo as allowed in the id when the cargo is modyfied with a shiphull, so its under or on the cargo limit.
For exemple the 3600 cargo limit from the feelancer id and a Pilgrim Liner equipt with Capital Ship Armor Upgrade Mk_VIII.
i know its not posible because its a liner but u get the idea i hope

The ID states that you can't use any transport with more than 3600 cargo, meaning you may not use the Pilgrim Liner with that ID. If you want the ship and the CAU8, buy a Junker ID.

Only the total maximum possible cargo value matters. If your ship has 3000 maximum cargo, and you have 2000 cargo filled with various equipment, (so you end up with just 1000 free cargo space), that still counts as the ship with 3000 cargo by ID rules.
